We had dinner at this restaurant in Otranto after evaluating other places open in the evenings this time of year. We wanted a seafood dinner. We were very pleased with the quality of the fish and the flavor of the dishes we ordered. The mussel sauté was exquisite, and the risotto was also plentiful and tasty. Excellent value. Recommended!

Dry pizza with very little topping. Corked wine. Friendly welcome and good service. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

The people around me were all locals dining, and the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious! The restaurants inside the fortress were so crowded that I didn't know where to go, but I discovered this place. If it hadn't been the last day of my trip, I would have come here every day. I prefer simple and clean local restaurants over the fancy pasta dishes found in tourist-oriented establishments.

Agriturismo Calamate

30/04/2026: Lovely stay in a quiet area. Very child-friendly too. The owners are super friendly. In the end, we couldn't eat there because the restaurant was booked for a party, but we suspect the food is just as tasty and well-prepared as the breakfast. Calamate is highly recommended!
