19/08/2025: Always a pleasure. Bar in Piazza San Sebastiano in Racale. Good products served and great courtesy from the owner and employees. Very good outdoor places to have breakfast or aperitifs. Ideal for summer evenings.

20/01/2025: Whenever I feel like eating a pizza I come here with my partner. The owner is always very kind, as are the waiters. What can I say...Really good pizza dough and large quantities of ingredients to fill you up, not like some pizzerias that give you paltry slices of ingredients. All adequate at the right price. I highly recommend.

01/10/2025: Perfection doesn't exist, it's true, but here the quality is top-notch! We tried the pasticciotto and pasticciottottino for breakfast, both with cream (exquisite). They also have a good selection of savory treats, with stuffed bites and excellent rustichini. What can I say? It's worth a visit again, even if we're just passing through. Social media helps you discover these places, which then need to be verified in person (sometimes, in fact, they're a scam). The title of best pastry chef in Salento is well-deserved. Kudos to the lady at the cash register, who combines kindness and friendliness. Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: Too bad about the coffee, which was a little too strong... the pasticciotto??? 6... the cream was good enough, but it was crumbly and slightly off-tan. Not exactly accurate. You can't fool a Salento native... overall, I think it got a little lost... and it's a shame... 2.50 seems a bit too much to me.

30/09/2025: I found the meat very good, perhaps less choice than I expected, the service excellent, the atmosphere not bad, the only flaw is that the outside tables are on the pavement of a very busy road, but knowing this I would say that you eat quite well and you pay the right price.

29/09/2025: It was my first time here, recommended by friends, and honestly, I was quite impressed. The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff and the owner himself, as well as the welcoming, almost "family-like" atmosphere, definitely make this place stand out. Superlative pizza!

07/09/2025: This isn't my first time here, and it'll definitely be my last. The service level is embarrassing, to say the least, and the wait times are completely unacceptable (an hour and 25 minutes for a pizza). The staff isn't up to par. The pizza isn't bad, if you have the patience to wait 90 minutes for it. I don't recommend it.

26/08/2025: Sunday dinner at 9:00 PM. We ordered a pizza with pistachio, mortadella, and stracciatella, and a pizza with chips. We asked to split them so we could each try each other's pieces, but were told it wasn't possible due to the mozzarella. After waiting over 30 minutes, I asked a very kind waitress what had happened to our pizzas. She replied that they were in the oven. A short while later, she returned and told us that they had run out of mortadella (at 9:00 PM). We made up for it by having salami added. Obviously, the pizzas had cooled down in the meantime (the photo makes it very clear), so much so that they arrived cut in half, as we had requested with the two toppings. The pizza was light and easy to digest. Prices were normal. When I went to pay and was asked how we liked it, I politely complained and was told, "Next time we'll make up for it." Too bad there will never be a next time. We also made a mistake in not changing the pizza.

04/10/2025: The food was decent, nothing special, but the service was truly poor, with endless waits, missed courses, and above all, a complete lack of attention and kindness from the owner and the head waiter (except for a young, newly hired employee). Maybe we weren't young, middle-class, and wealthy hipsters enough. You see...

05/10/2025: An exceptional and flawless experience, the chef's talent shines through in every dish we sampled, from appetizer to dessert. A tasting of appetizers with several individual courses, both excellent seafood and meat, paired with top-quality, unexpected ingredients. The first courses featuring freshly caught fish were superb, and to top it all, a lemon tartlet and a dessert with hazelnuts and ricotta were top-notch! The location is a well-maintained ancient palace with a wonderful garden. I recommend booking due to the high attendance.

The fish was incredibly fresh, with refined pairings and impeccable service. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were extremely friendly.
