25/04/2025: The pasticciotti from Giuseppe's Pasticceria De Mitri are a delight: crumbly pastry and creamy filling that conquers at the first bite. The pastiera is among the best I have ever tasted. Giuseppe is the best pastry chef I have ever met: passion and skill can be felt in every dessert.

Also focaccias and pizzas, wood-fired bread and lots of vegetables and cheeses at the counter. Also wine and food. In short, there is everything here, good and a lot of kindness just a few minutes from Santa Cesarea Terme. It closes at 1.30pm and reopens in the afternoon until 8.30pm He saved and spoiled us on our August holidays in Vitigliano

31/08/2024: If you are looking for a restaurant to eat at and you are undecided among the thousands that are in Torre dell'Orso... I recommend the Marinoteca! Quick and friendly service, good food and competitive prices! Well done!!

26/07/2024: We ate at the restaurant outside to the left of Marinoteca, really good food but a bit of a pressured service. I believe that the two places are associated, where on the right the food is produced by Marinoteca and on the left the cocktail bar. Some dishes were not on the menu but were served anyway, we were served by a boy and a girl. Where they constantly asked us how it was going, it's nice but not too much. Overall all very good. But we will return to Marinoteca and not to the cocktail Bar next door. For the rest, get the raw ham and the mussel sauce from Marinoteca, there is quality and a lot of love!

04/09/2024: The beating heart of Barbarano del Capo. In the center of the square it is a fixed meeting point for the inhabitants of the town, for those from nearby towns and for foreigners like me, who love Salento but are far from tourists. Thanks to Dario and Giorgio.

13/05/2025: This morning I had 2 pasticciotti, 1 chocolate cream puff and 1 Parigina. The cream puff and the Parigina were hard and dry, clearly at least a couple of days old. People are not stupid: it would have been better not to sell them rather than palm off products like this. Terrible experience, I will not return.

21/05/2025: We were there for the first time today. And let me just say it was the best thing I've ever eaten. Truly delicious, and the price is absolutely reasonable. The server was very friendly and well-trained. Just as you'd expect in an "expensive" restaurant. I would give it more than 5 stars if that were possible. Definitely back next time.

14/05/2025: Magnifique découverte . Ambiance cocooning. Francesco est très accueillant à l’écoute et a su bien nous conseiller malgré la barrière de la langue. Repas digne d’un restaurant bistronomique avec des mets de qualité et locaux. Pour couronner le tout présentation raffinée. Nous y sommes retournés 2fois lors de notre séjour de 3 jours à Nardo Merci. Nelly et François.
