26/07/2024: Searched and found easily. Informal place but friendliness with the owner, simple but refined and excellent dishes. Affordable prices and specialties not easy to find elsewhere like the Mafalda of pistachios, almonds and figs in the photo: superb!!

29/07/2024: Went to this fishmonger one Monday evening. Cristian, very kind, found us a table even though the place was full. Family-run business (parents and two children), excellently organized and with defined roles, guaranteeing speed and efficiency in the service. The fish is very fresh, cooked masterfully by the father, who does not skimp on the condiments and portions, which are abundant and tasty. We ate mussels peppered, spaghetti with seafood (cyclopean portion), octopus in a piñata and seafood salad, all accompanied by a glass of white Malvasia, a beer and a bottle of water. Price 70 euros for two... more than honest. It's a shame that I only discovered it on the last day of the holiday. Well done! Keep it up. Putting quality first always pays off.

25/08/2024: We took takeaway! What can I say: very good meat, I didn't even chew it, it melted like butter, the side dishes were also excellent, honest prices, friendly staff and then they speak to each other in Salento dialect which gives that touch of style that tourists like !

In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti tipici della tradizione. Una vera esplosione di sapori. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a tutti gli amanti del buon cibo.

27/08/2024: I'll start by saying that thanks to this place I discovered the historic center of Ugento which is truly delicious. The restaurant with its tables overlooks a beautiful square in the historic centre. A nice, very coherent concept, the interiors are very well looked after and there are many curiosities to observe. Very well done, congratulations! I think it's a nice meeting point. I believe that its main vocation is more than a place for drinking in company. The drinks are excellent, a good selection of gins and beers. As for the food there is a wide assortment of hot dogs and burgers with artisanal buns with bright names and colours. According to my taste, however, the cooked dishes are a bit messy. It's probably not their specialty. Starting from the fact that in the menu all the items (starters, first and second courses) are grouped under the heading "cuisine". In any case, although the cuisine is good, it is not at the same level as the rest of the offer. In any case, if you are in the Ugento area it is absolutely worth stopping for an aperitif or dinner in this place.

20/08/2024: Beautiful place in a splendid square, good food especially the various types of meatballs that we had as an appetizer, the only flaw was the service: they are all very kind but a little too slow... we waited a long time before having the table despite we had a little girl.

10/08/2024: We ate very well. The dishes are plentiful and all very good, even if the prices are definitely too high for Salento. Low service because they didn't know how to manage the situation when a lady was sick, without bothering to clean her table or move us.

26/08/2024: Beautiful food, fantastic wine, and overall a lovely little restaurant - but, above all, the welcome and ongoing care from the host (& I presume owner) was exceptional. Warm, friendly, and happy to stretch his limited English to explain, recommend, and make us feel welcome. It was like we were important guests at a dinner party he was hosting. Definitely recommend this little gem.

29/08/2024: Discovered by chance while walking around Otranto, a real gem. As a lactose intolerant person, it becomes increasingly difficult to find ice cream shops with a wider choice than the usual strawberry and chocolate. At the Gelateria Del fico I was able to choose from numerous flavours, all exceptional. the pistachio without milk looked like a real pistachio and let's not talk about the fig, as if I had picked it from the tree right at that moment. Quality/price 10 out of 10, congratulations!!

21/08/2024: I have been a customer of theirs for some time and they have always managed to satisfy me with their products. They offer a wide selection of desserts, all delicious. I love their pasticiotti. Beautiful location, excellent location and friendly and helpful staff. Special mention for Giulia, who with her cheerfulness will make your experience better!
