28/09/2024: Da Buona Salentina il conviviale è in primis la tavola di casa nostra . Appunto abbiamo rivisitato questo nome restaurant e persino l'aria ricorda noi in tutto . I piatti non solo abbondanti ma originali del territorio . Luigina è la mamma che apparecchia e serve con la dolcezza che contraddistingue le nostre mamme in cucina . Arriviamo sotto un porticato illuminato ad aria marina ( pochi passi dal mare ionio) un ciao "settative è pronto" accoglie un tavolo ordinato e funzionale . Antipastib( non finivano mai ) di terra nostra con vino a scelta . Primi di terra con opzione di ricotta scanta ...e qui i ricordi della mia nonna e papà."Sagne incannulate "e sugo che mai potreste assaggiare se non nel mio Salento . In quella serata la specialità del giorno " monicedde" ...ripetiamo ripetiamo e ripetiamo . Ma ora ....perché scrivere ancora ....vi mostro le foto ( alcuni piatti saltati al fotografo perché già buttato sul piatto ) .Vieni in Puglia e vuoi mangiare i piatti di una cucina "te casa " ??? VIENI QUI .

02/01/2025: Thanks to a gift, we took advantage of the Masseria Bandino Spa... What can I say, everything was perfect and enchanting! From the kind welcome to the obsessive cleanliness of the spaces... we took a two-hour journey through saunas, hydromassage and relaxation on the sunbeds, served with drinks and herbal teas, and a plate of fresh fruit, all accompanied by relaxing music and the right amount of privacy ! An environment with attention to the smallest details, where it leaves no room for the smells of mold or stagnant water that we have always smelled in other wellness centres, but rather the scents of lime and clean smells! Both the lady at the reception and the lady at the Spa were kind, welcoming, smiling and not intrusive! An excellent solution as a gift idea so as not to make a bad impression, but for us, a right motivation to return!

08/01/2025: Siamo stati in questo grazioso locale scoperto grazie alle positivissime recensioni, in occasione di un evento per noi speciale. Il ristorante si presenta intimo e curato in ogni dettaglio, creando un’atmosfera intima e piacevole. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, la ragazza che ci ha assistito si è dimostrata attenta e premurosa, riservando un’accoglienza calorosa persino alla nostra cagnolina. Per la cena abbiamo scelto il carciofo confit, le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini e tartufo, il filetto di ombrina, l’entrecôte e, per concludere, un dessert sorprendente: il tiramisù con la frisa. Ogni piatto si è rivelato un’esperienza culinaria unica, caratterizzata dal profondo rispetto per la materia prima, valorizzata senza l’uso eccessivo di aromi che spesso tendono a mascherarne i sapori. Le tagliatelle erano un perfetto equilibrio di gusto, con i sapori dei funghi porcini e del tartufo che si percepivano distintamente. Il filetto di ombrina ci ha regalato un assaggio autentico di mare, mentre l’entrecôte, richiesta ben cotta, è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa: tenera, priva di filamenti rosa o tracce di sangue, eppure assolutamente succulenta, una cottura davvero magistrale. Il tiramisù con la frisa, infine, è stato una vera rivelazione: una combinazione originale e perfettamente riuscita, in cui si potevano apprezzare il gusto deciso del caffè amaro, la freschezza della crema a base di uova e l’originalità della frisa ben integrata nel dessert. Dulcis in fundo, gli amari serviti a fine pasto ci hanno riportato ai sapori della nostra infanzia: la liquirizia pura e il profumo inebriante dei mandarini freschi, ricchi di note agrumate. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal cibo e dalla cortesia del personale, e cenare in questo locale si è rivelata una delle scelte migliori che potessimo fare. Per noi, un’esperienza degna di essere riconosciuta in stelle Michelin.

25/12/2024: Christmas lunch in an extremely refined and elegant context, excellent service, excellent quality of the dishes. From sweet and sour aubergines, to orecchiette with meatballs, to beef cheek with chicory. I underline the excellent service and patience towards a varied and pretentious clientele (other than myself). Excellent value for money.

25/12/2024: After years of absence I found the enlarged place improved and made very elegant, with pleasant music playing, the service was a little slow. The dishes are prepared with care, the raw materials are excellent. The meat is very tender and cooked with care. (I would like to know which butcher the owner gets his supplies from). The desserts are also excellent, handcrafted.

Suggestive location that will leave all our guests speechless, with attention to the smallest details... amazing food that satisfied all palates (I have never eaten such good and high quality dishes), excellent service... and then Alessandro, a fantastic person with great heart like few others, super kind since the first time we met. We got married on December 14, 2024 and everything was wonderful, ALL our guests (no one excluded) were enchanted... a day that will remain forever in our hearts. The Christmas atmosphere at Villa Zaira is of great impact, among the trees and various lights we felt at home... Pampered by every single person, from the chef Aldo Pagliara, to the wedding Chiara always present... to the owners Alessandro and Anna Lucia .. in short, everyone, no one excluded. Saying thank you is an understatement, we will keep this day in our hearts forever ❤️ Thank you Villa Zaira for the great emotions you made us feel. 01/11/2024: A great discovery when visiting the Puglia region. This restaurant nestled in a small village offered us a menu with extremely well prepared local products. The wine from the regions of Italy are excellent, especially a Sauvignon blanc. The service is perfect and friendly. We feel that they love what they do. There were 6 of us and we went there twice during our stay. Around €35/person with starter/main course/dessert and wine. And a nice appetizer and sweet treats to finish. I recommend 1000 times.

29/08/2024: Discovered by chance while walking around Otranto, a real gem. As a lactose intolerant person, it becomes increasingly difficult to find ice cream shops with a wider choice than the usual strawberry and chocolate. At the Gelateria Del fico I was able to choose from numerous flavours, all exceptional. the pistachio without milk looked like a real pistachio and let's not talk about the fig, as if I had picked it from the tree right at that moment. Quality/price 10 out of 10, congratulations!!
