A unique experience, with a knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional staff. The dinner was sublime, starting with the appetizers, a treat for the palate, and continuing with the delicate yet persistent first course. The second courses were an explosion of flavors, both the lamb and the cooked veal. The inevitable dessert was a must... In short, you have to try it to understand. Compliments to the chef and his team.

The location is very unique. The aperitif was served in a former quarry dug into the ground and later covered with a barrel vault. Dinner took place in the cellar, where enormous oak barrels, each holding 6-8,000 liters, are stored. The simple yet refined dinner was appropriate for the unique setting.

We come at least twice a year because we are not from these parts but as always everything is top notch! The menu always changes from time to time! MS never disappoints! Every new taste is always top notch! And the service is always excellent! Very cute place and relaxing place!

We celebrated my son's eighteenth birthday at this beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind venue! Everything was impeccable, the staff were incredibly kind and always ready to accommodate our guests' every request. We couldn't have chosen a better location, thank you!

We dined at this restaurant last night and were thrilled. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive to every detail. The dishes? The expressive power of this place is the ancient stone quarries where the building material was extracted. Subsequent interventions to adapt the hygiene and sanitary standards, as well as the lighting and air treatment have made this ancient barn a pleasant gathering place!

A truly surprising restaurant. The location is truly beautiful and perfectly complements the chef's cooking style. The lamb with Genoese cream and brown stock is the standout dish. The service was also excellent. Excellent!

Beautiful location and impeccable cuisine, every dish crafted to perfection. We chatted with the sommelier Andrea, and it was wonderful to discover his great passion for his work. He recommended perfect pairings with local wines. The service was a bit stiff.

07/04/2026: It was the first sunny day of spring, and I took advantage of it to catapult myself into Salento, eager to begin to smell the sea air, which, as we know, makes you hungry. This restaurant, found thanks to Google because it's not exactly on the coast, perfectly met my needs. Quality ingredients, beautifully prepared, served in abundance, so much so that you could fill up on a seafood lunch, which says it all. I look forward to seeing you soon in Martina to let you taste the meats of the Itria Valley.
28/03/2026: 🌟 A seafood delicacy in the heart of Veglie ​I celebrated my father-in-law's birthday here today, and the experience was impeccable. Il Paisiello is a family-run restaurant that welcomes you in a quaint, rustic atmosphere, where the kindness of the staff (always professional and helpful) makes you feel right at home. ​🍽️ The Menu: Freshness and Tradition ​The highlight is undoubtedly the seafood. Here's what we tasted: ​Appetizers: A triumph of flavors with an excellent seafood salad, authentic octopus meatballs, crispy cod croquettes, and tender octopus alla pignata (a true specialty). ​First course: Caserecce pasta with baby lobster, flavorful and cooked to perfection. ​Second course: A light, dry, and fragrant fried calamari and shrimp. The finale: A refreshing sorbet, perfect after such a rich seafood feast. 🎨 The Ambience ​We had lunch in the covered outdoor dining room: a very pleasant space dominated by white, made unique by naturalistic paintings on the walls and vintage objects that add a touch of personality and warmth to the atmosphere. ​In summary: If you're looking for quality seafood combined with the warmth of a family-run restaurant, Il Paisiello is a must-try in Veglie. 10/02/2026: The location is simply excellent!!! Impeccable service...everywhere...commendable. The food was truly unique...in flavor, and every dish was delicious! It was a pleasure to spend a pleasant evening here for dinner...and Sergio was incredibly friendly. Congratulations...
15/01/2026: A get-together with colleagues and friends. Nice place, friendly staff, fast service, food lived up to my expectations, and reasonable prices. This time I chose the puccia, but next time I'll try something else. Highly recommended.
