05/05/2024: If you want to not ruin your day, read this review. I'll start by saying that I'm not a reviewer. Since I don't want harm even for my worst enemy, I want to inform you to avoid this place like the plague. I had lunch with my girlfriend on Sunday 28 April during the Federicus in Altamura. As soon as we entered our expectations were quite high. At first glance the location was good. They gave us the table after 10 minutes and so far everything has been wonderful. We sit on the sofas which welcomed our butts very very well and so far so good. Everything started to go differently well when, after the very long wait of three quarters of an hour (very understandable given the situation), they finally brought us our platter of cold cuts and cheeses which unexpectedly, as a gourmet, was left over. The bread is quite harder than the standards offered in the Altamura area. And now comes the best part. I ordered a first course and I barely got a taste. My damsel ordered a salad with salmon, where mostly tomato and gray salmon were present. The latter, contested for its suspicious colour, we were dismissed with a fine: the gray part is the fatty part of the salmon, therefore the tastiest. When, even if you go to Google, they tell you that the gray part is equivalent to the waste of the salmon. We returned what you can see in the photo, without receiving anything else as a replacement. Icing on the cake? The bill! For goodness sake, I spent a lot more elsewhere where I got a lot out of what I ate. In this case I paid €66.50 which, according to my calculations, should have been €63.00. Which means that despite our complaint, part of the salad that wasn't there was not deducted and that they also made us pay for the very hard aged Altamura bread. I feel sorry for this place because it really has good potential. I would be happy if the owner of this "restaurant" humbly reads this review for the future of his business. To date completely dissatisfied and mocked.

10/07/2024: Delicious tuna salad with peppery dressing, mopped up with the famous and scrumptious Altamura bread. Big servings, cheap price in tasteful surroundings, although you would need to like jazz music.

06/08/2024: The evening started badly because initially we waited a little but thanks to Director Checco there was a very positive turn: the dishes are plentiful and above all of excellent quality. There is a lot of choice and they are attentive to intolerances. We will definitely be back.

13/08/2024: They didn't have the written menu of the restaurant, I think it's incorrect that the paper menu isn't there (it was there for the pizzas), the customer must be able to find out first what the dishes and drinks cost by calmly consulting the menu. Normal octopus, nothing special, first course with tuna, in my opinion overcooked and not tasty. Still white wine, good.

03/08/2024: With this August heat the only distraction is thinking about food and fresh seasonal products. The pizza on Giovinazzo is in first place here, period! A semi-Neapolitan dough seasoned properly that makes you salivate just by looking at it. We see each other often now 😌 and I hope you always maintain this level. 👏 Well done

10/08/2024: I stumbled upon it by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the goodness of the fried panzerotti. Freshly cooked! Delicious. Very honest prices. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended

18/07/2024: A legalized theft We order two large pizzas at home, one frankfurter and one with sausage and potatoes. We are shocked when the boy arrives with the bill to pay: €43.50 of which 16 for the frankfurter and 25 for the second. (among other things, €2.50 remains for domicile only) All for a very normal pizza and perhaps something less. When asked for explanations, the first question the guy asks us is "how much are you eating?" as if it affected something. All ending with "but the maxi pizza is worth 3, which is why the high price". Obviously it wasn't worth 3 quantity pizzas and it wasn't worth even a quality pizza for those prices. First and last time

30/03/2024: Very bad. We waited 2 hours for a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. There were four of us, we found ourselves forced to kill time with a couple of beers each and nothing else. Sitting down at 9pm, at 11pm we decided to ask for the bill, giving up the 4 sandwiches ordered which who knows when they would arrive. The bill: €71.50

30/03/2024: Reservation at 9pm, at 11pm we get up and leave. We are a table of 4 people, the order: 4 sandwiches, a platter to accompany with Ciccio (6 pieces = €5), and beers. We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to receive the cutting board. We were told several times from 10am "5 minutes". At the checkout the bill was €71.50, paid with €70, he asked the cashier for the receipt, which he had pretended to forget, he also asked for €1.50. Don't go there guys, dispassionate advice.

19/05/2024: There is a huge amount of pizzas and panini to choose from, and with a very good price. Ordered pizzas were done by the chef very fast, and he was also very kind and friendly. I had a huge amount of ingredients on my pizza so it was not plain at all.

19/08/2024: I ordered one dish and got another. When I point this out, I am told that they have now served it to me and I cannot send it back. And that I have to pay for a dish that I didn't eat, which is not what I ordered (the menu agrees with me). One of the waiters doesn't even speak Italian, it's impossible to have a conversation about it with them. Crappy customer service, for food that's actually less than mediocre

18/08/2024: The restaurant is nice, the service is also not bad, characterized by a lot of friendliness, shame about the food. All very similar flavors and slightly inferior raw materials. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in the city, I'm sorry to say that it isn't up to par. Low and adequate prices for everything. I recommend the chicken with almonds, but I do not recommend the ravioli in any cooking and the appetizers in general. There is always room for improvement!
