Alla Barese In Bari

We chose this restaurant because we wanted to try spaghetti all'Assassina and the reviews spoke well of it. Right choice! We have no terms of comparison since it was the first time we ate them, but they satisfied us. Perhaps slightly overpriced for a first course, but being particular we can understand. We were able to have lunch outside. Quick service! Possibility to pay by credit card without problems (Amex included).

After several times in which I came between lunch and dinner, I found the quality of the dishes to be nothing short of perfect, it lives up to its name well with regards to the menu as the dishes are typical local and well balanced between first and second courses, excellent quality and price. I was very satisfied and the owner always offers me coffee and a cigarette! Perfect place I recommend it!

Very good pizza, friendly and professional staff

Excellent food, tasty and well prepared, quick service. Not very friendly, the lady who manages the room, really not at all empathetic and almost annoyed at the slightest request. On a simple joke about the bitters "offered on the house".... he kept underlining in a very annoyed way that the bitters were paid for (obviously, it was a joke from a table of 16 people who didn't pay attention to ordering wines "not of the home"....and various courses for a final bill that certainly made her happy!!! I give it four stars, only for the excellent dishes.....the lady's welcome was not the best..... It's still not ready for 5 stars!!!! I forgot, at the end she included the bitters in the bill even if we didn't consume them because we didn't like the proposals, we pointed it out and with her usual behavior she limited herself only to deducting them without any hint of apology for a "oversight"..... 😉

Impeccable food, staff and location

A lot of pizzas, but for me I couldn't find one, but the starters and the desserts were very good. I recommend for dinner...

Locale interessante, punto strategico nel centro barese, cucina... non male, prezzi nella norma. Difetto? La maleducazione della ragazza addetta alle comande- prenotazioni- tavoli. Non è difficilissimo capire chi è Non certo la ragazza minuta che serve ai tavoli , gentile e garbata come gli altri ragazzi ( con lei solo in comune gli occhiali) Purtroppo devo dare conferma a chi prima di me lo aveva già fatto notare nelle recensioni. Peccato
