Osteria Villari In Bari

The 90 day aged beef was perfectly cooked and left a great impression on us on our first day in Bari that we just had to mark the end of our Puglia visit with yet another aged beef dinner night. The best amongst the others we tried in Lecce and Gallipoli. Chef Michele cooked with such passion and despite the language barrier, we had great fun eating here. Come try his perfectly grilled steak!

Had a wonderful dinner here. The tagliata (sliced steak with arugula, tomatoes, and parmesan) was delicious. Also had excellent deserts. Service was very good.

The food was very, very good, we also had a drink that was equally good, there was no queue and we were not confused that we didn't have a reservation. It was quite empty when we arrived.

Three of us went last Friday evening, and everything was perfect! The restaurant is tastefully decorated, showcasing Apulian tradition. The dishes were amazing, exactly what we expected (a true Apulian guest approved!), and the portions were generous. The staff were extremely friendly, witty, but never intrusive; truly a dream. The price was reasonable. We'll definitely be back!

A well-deserved 5 stars. We went to Osteria Villari and had a truly wonderful time. Excellent food, an authentic atmosphere, and absolutely fair prices for the quality. The service was remarkable: the staff was kind, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. They recommended an exceptional beef carpaccio, incredibly fresh and incredibly flavorful. The spaghetti all'assassina was delicious, made just right, crispy, and full of flavor. The bombette were also spectacular. If you're looking for authentic Bari cuisine done well, this place is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back.
