We were appalled by the way the waiters treated us—they were rude and ill-mannered, speaking ill of us behind our backs because they assumed we didn't understand Italian. Low-quality drinks, poor food, and acidic, canned sauce. There is no pizza or fish on the menu. High prices and truly poor quality.

26/04/2026: Last night, thanks to the nice weather, I took a trip to Torre a Mare; beautiful sea, starry skies, a stroll, and then a treat. I arrive at Montecristo and there we're spoiled for choice: fried panzerotti with tomato and mozzarella, cacio e pepe, turnip greens, mortadella and provolone, and at this point a tough decision is required: at least two, for the sake of it, to start!!! The diet...all right, we'll leave that to the others for tonight. P.S. And don't forget a piece, even a small one, of focaccia.

We tried a truly excellent sliced ​​steak, tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The pizza deserves a special mention: cooked in a wood-fired oven, with well-crafted dough and quality ingredients that truly make the difference. During the evening, we spoke with the owner, Carmine, who passionately told us about his 31 years of experience in this business—a long journey that shows in the dishes, the organization, and the customer service. A word of advice: follow his suggestions, because he knows how to guide you perfectly when choosing between pizza, meat, and the other options on the menu. If you're passing through Acquaviva delle Fonti, it's one of those places that's definitely worth a try. Quality, experience, and a friendly atmosphere: ingredients that make you want to come back again and again.

05/05/2026: I would have expected more from this place. Excellent food and excellent pizza, a little limited in the variety of appetizers, but still good. The service was very slow, especially with the pizzas, some of which got lost on the way from the oven to the tables...

03/02/2026: I often stop at Edy's when I go out in Noci at night. Located on one of the town's main streets, just a few meters from the town center and the Villa Comunale, it's a very welcoming and popular place. I've always managed to find a table, even on Saturdays or particularly busy days like the patron saint's day. The staff has generally always been very friendly and fairly attentive in their service. The food quality is average, although in the past, I think there was more attention to the quality of the ingredients and preparation. The cocktails could be improved. The aperitifs are still good, especially the sweet croissants, which can be filled with a variety of ingredients. The quality/price ratio is overall good, also considering the service and location. If the quality of the food and drinks were to improve in the future, I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars.

Fourteen of us sat down for a family dinner, having made reservations, and were greeted by Angela and Mariella with an unparalleled sense of kindness and hospitality. Shortly afterward, Gabriele came to visit us, and with his charming personality and exquisite professionalism, he explained what we would be enjoying. Well, close your eyes and imagine what must have happened: an endless array of appetizers—seafood, meat, cooked, raw—of unprecedented freshness and deliciousness, both in quantity and quality. The first courses were simply delicious; the second courses were simply fabulous. What can I say: we were incredibly lucky to find this restaurant; these people made us feel like family; we ate a lot and well, in complete tranquility; no one came to pressure us; and last but not least, we paid a fair price. A message for those looking for a good seafood restaurant with a quality-price ratio and staff to match, stop at: RISTORANTE BELUGA SANTO SPIRITO BARI.

07/03/2026: A very quiet hotel with excellent service. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Many typical Puglian sights are located nearby, such as the Sassi di Matera and the world-famous Alberobello. The food here is also excellent. I was given a tour of the kitchen, and it was exceptionally clean, which is quite rare in the restaurant industry. The staff is courteous and very friendly. So, if you value a peaceful stay with good food, this is the perfect place. I would gladly stay at Hotel Murgia again. Thank you for the wonderful time :-). See you soon!
