23/09/2025: The location is simple and functional, without any particular touches that make it welcoming or memorable: it's fine for a casual pizza, but it lacks that extra touch that makes the atmosphere make you want to return. The pizza, which is naturally the heart of the experience, didn't entirely convince me. The dough is rather heavy and hard to digest; I would have greatly appreciated the option of choosing grain-based options, which are often lighter and tastier, but unfortunately, they weren't available. Regarding the service, I felt a certain superficiality: the staff was friendly, but a bit rushed and lacking attention to detail. And, in a place that focuses on pizza, this aspect also contributes to the overall experience. In terms of value, it was fair and in line with the offerings.

01/09/2025: I visited this agriturismo yesterday to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. I'll start by saying that I was a little worried about some of the reviews I'd read, but I was delighted to be reconsidered. The place is well-managed and offers something for everyone (you can take a walk among the beautiful and docile animals, you can sit at the table and chat without being disturbed by the music, and there's a gazebo next to the dining rooms where you can dance until almost 9 pm). The food is excellent and the portions are generous, with plenty of second helpings left on the tables. The service is excellent, always available, impeccable, and always smiling. Kudos to Giuseppe, the owner, who is always present and available.

30/08/2025: We had lunch on Saturday, August 30th, enjoying a tasting of appetizers for two for €30. Everything was truly excellent and plentiful. We were served quickly, with care, and kindness. A quaint and well-maintained place, highly recommended.

08/10/2025: Let's start with the setting, an old restaurant with a stone vaulted ceiling, including the floor. Original materials. Modern, pleasant furnishings. Very good service. No doubt about it. And finally, the food. The orecchiette with turnip greens were excellent. The second course of the first course was also very good. But the orecchiette were number one, believe me. The house wine, a red, was also good. And the tiramisu? At this latitude, it can be problematic, but this one was also good. Fair prices. Recommended.

23/08/2025: I went to have breakfast... I asked for an espresso and a croissant. There was no one in the bar... the barista thought I wouldn't notice, so she heated the milk, put it in the glass, and stained it with the coffee she had aside. I said, "Excuse me, I didn't hear the sound of the coffee machine arm when it's making..." He said, "No." I had just made it for myself... we all know how to make espresso. After paying, I didn't drink, and I told him, "Drink it, don't make fun of me." I acted like a gentleman and left. "Shame on you... after what it costs."

09/05/2025: An excellent Apulian panzerotto, with all kinds of fillings. Top is the one with the «brasciola» (meat roll with ragù).

04/03/2025: A lovely spot in the center of Grumo Appula, a bar overlooking a charming little square. The surprise is that in the evening they serve panzerotti filled with meat, turnips, various cured meats, and of course the classic tomato and mozzarella ones. The service is impeccable and fast, but most importantly, they bring them out of the kitchen one at a time, allowing customers to eat them piping hot. Prices are reasonable, so they offer excellent value. We'll definitely be returning again and again.

16/08/2025: My partner and I had lunch yesterday at Biancospino, the best seafood restaurant in Altamura in our opinion. Despite it being a busy holiday, the owner took the time to welcome us during lunch and ensure everything was up to expectations. We had a seafood appetizer (excellent), an excellent first course, a glass of rosé, and a good dessert. Everything was excellent, with prices in line with the market. We'll be back soon! Thank you so much, also for the discount on the bill, which is rare these days.

15/08/2025: Terrible, big scammers, congratulations! The food was good, but the service was terrible, with incorrect orders and long wait times. The waiters repeatedly brought the wrong dishes and got the orders wrong. The surprise was that the bill ended up with the wrong extra dishes added. Furthermore, the prices of the individual dishes were insane compared to what was listed on the menu. I'm attaching a photo of the receipt for a single salmon dish, €25. The menu showed the price at half price, as did all the other prices. When I pointed out the error on the receipt, the owner responded with great arrogance and rudeness. I do not recommend!

26/10/2025: L'Argenteria is a new concept store dedicated to food and beverage services. We're told the place gets its curious name from its historic purpose: for decades, these spaces have hosted the sale of all sorts of silver accessories. We're located right in the center of Bari, on a charming, traffic-free street filled with all sorts of small eateries, and we're experiencing a unique atmosphere. We chose the easiest, but also the least economical, way to get there—using the parking garage just steps away. Otherwise, finding a parking spot would have been a daunting task. The design is modern and captivating, the atmosphere welcoming; I'd describe it as minimal chic with original industrial touches. There are indoor and outdoor tables, as well as a well-stocked café and American bar. The kitchen is open to the public, and we noticed the place was tidy and clean, as well as a busy crowd. We had a great dinner, finishing with an excellent gin and tonic, which won out over an attractive dessert. I confess, the choice was a tough one. Throughout the evening, music and entertainment were well-integrated into the atmosphere. The bill? Not cheap, but fair value. They told us the place was open from morning until late, and as we left, there were still people celebrating. What can I say? Argento Vivo with 360° service.

23/10/2025: I've dined at this restaurant several times (dinners, aperitifs, and private parties). Besides the beautiful location, with meticulous attention to detail, I've been impressed by the quality of the food (always top-notch) and the staff's meticulous attention to customer service. I highly recommend it!

26/07/2025: Trovato per caso, da subito abbiamo capito che aveva appeal, e non ci siamo smentiti! Cibo di qualità e cucinato ad arte, prodotti tipici. Consigliamo "strascinate con cime di rapa". Personale super gentile, siamo stati qui 24 ore e ci abbiamo mangiato 3 volte!! Pasticciotti da provare! Grazie Dino e Desy

15/07/2025: Pro: ampia scelta di cibi e bevande; ambiente carino ed informale; personale cortese e disponibile; parcheggio riservato ai clienti. Contro: tavoli un pó impolverati (colpa dei ventilatori?); prezzi alla cassa che spesso non coincidono con quelli sul menu!!

27/08/2025: I tried the pasta all'assassina at this trattoria and it was a real surprise: perfectly cooked, perfectly crispy, and with that smoky, slightly spicy flavor that makes this dish unique. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, with just the right amount of charring that distinguishes the true assassina from Bari. The friendly service and family atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try a traditional Apulian dish prepared as it should be.

21/09/2025: The place was empty. There were 3 of us. We asked to sit at a table for 4 to have more space, but the owner insisted on having us sit at a patio table for 2. She was rude. She angrily started moving chairs and tables, saying, "If it's okay with you." I repeat, the outdoor area was empty. I don't understand those who give a 5 for service. Highly discouraged!

14/10/2025: The food tasted good. But beware: They even charge you for the glass of wine that was initially on the table: €5. I had to insist on getting my change. A bit unpleasant overall, sorry.

When I asked for my slices of bread to be toasted to accompany my delicious seafood risotto, I was promptly served a plate of bruschetta! At no extra charge. The bill came right away after having asked for it. Extremely neat, good food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is very cozy and rustic in a house in the old town with vaulted ceilings. The service is competent, friendly, professional, and pleasantly reserved. When I asked for my slices of bread to be toasted to accompany my delicious seafood risotto, I was promptly served a plate of bruschetta! At no extra charge. The bill came immediately after I asked for it. Extremely neat, good food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is wonderfully accomodating and rustic in a house in the historic center with soffitti a volta. The service is competent, cordial, professional and discreet. When you cook the fat of pane to accompany your delicious risotto with fruit on the sea, you can always serve a plate of bruschetta! Senza alcun supplemento. The account arrives within two years.
