La Locanda del Gallo In Alberobello

We came for breakfast and what a surprise: the croissants were delicious! And the iced coffee/late was perfect ☺️ I recommend it for breakfast in the heart of the Trulli

The crudaiola dish I had here was one of the most delicious and simple meals I’ve ever had in my life. I expected a place so central in Arberobello to be a tourist-trap and expensive, but instead it was top-quality authentic Apulian food at a reasonable price, with a stunning view of the trulli and great friendly service. I was visiting from Ireland and would be tempted to return to Apulia just to eat that again.

This restaurant is located next to one of Truli's main avenues. It's 20 meters from the main road, guaranteeing a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Excellent service, clean, and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Excellent service, excellent food, magical environment. I liked it, I ate such a combination for the first time. Prices adequate for the place. I regret that I did not stay for dessert. Thank you for the very kind service, the lady and the gentleman were very respectful.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Locanda del Gallo. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink.
