03/06/2025: Sono stata in questa splendida location per la prima comunione di mia figlia, con parenti e amici. Tutto è stato ineccepibile: posto curato internamente ed esternamente ed estremamente pulito. I primi di mare e di terra saporitissimi e impiattati con cura, con ingredienti freschi e genuini. Il piatto a base di carne ha soddisfatto ulteriormente i mei ospiti perché fresca e tenerissima. I salumi e la frutta saporitissimi e freschi. La torta ha rappresentato il momento più bello della festa perché servita nel giardino circondato da trulli e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Molta attenzione inoltre è stata riservata agli ospiti con qualche intolleranza e celiaci. Molto buono il servizio e l'attenzione ai clienti da parte del proprietario, Signor Michele e del figlio Girolamo, sempre presenti in sala, con discrezione. I miei ospiti e mia figlia, sono stati contenti e soddisfatti per questo posto davvero suggestivo . Grazie a tutto lo staff della "Masseria Gelso Antico" per la bellissima giornata.

29/11/2024: We found this place thanks to some reviews on The Fork. Let's say that compared to the aesthetic aspect of the place you might not trust it but when you taste the paella at the first bite.... you change your mind about everything. Yummy and Suman is super nice.

10/05/2025: It's just past midnight and I'm as hungry as a Turk (but why are Turks so hungry?), my wife has recently given birth and on the way back from Miulli I'm looking for a pizzeria without too many expectations. I'll even call before arriving. A friendly voice answers me, a very polite pizza chef welcomes me and now at the end of the pizza he recommended I can calmly say that I am a better man :) Delicious pizza, excellent ingredients... I'm flying

27/12/2024: Ristorante Al quanto semplice ma meritevole di lode. Antipasti squisiti e sfiziosi, crudo mare freschissimo. Primi superlativi e vasta scelta di secondi. Pescato del giorno sempre disponibile di tante varietà. Non parliamo del dessert una goduria per il palato. Servizo cordiale e divertente che ti fa sentire a casa. Complimenti ragazzi continuate così.

First courses of equal level and special. If you invite someone to dinner here you will certainly not make a bad impression!

29/05/2025: Beautiful restyled coffee bar (see my new photos) with comfortable seats and places to stand at the bar. We came there in the morning for breakfast, offered by the B&B in the same street. Friendly staff, delicious coffee and a wide choice of sweets, highly recommended.

18/05/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante eccellente! Ogni piatto era squisito è fatto con materie prime di qualità dai frutti di mare al primo si frutti di mare e pesce freschissimo. Per non parlare del loro meraviglioso affogato e altri dolci squisiti. Consigliatissimo!

08/06/2025: From the Dimore di Brando Vico Celso hotel (which I also highly recommended), we were referred here for breakfast, and we were truly amazed by the quality of the breakfast—super-rich and high-quality. Its location is excellent. I highly recommend this place. Another highlight was the service!

28/05/2025: Nice place with lots of outdoor tables. Good food and generous portions. We had a salad and a puccia and they were both excellent quality. Kind and friendly staff. Excellent quality/price ratio. Absolutely recommended!

05/05/2025: Guys, the two of us just got out of there... As an Apulian who spent 2 years in Tuscany, I entered on a war footing, because Tuscan cured meats and meat combined with Apulian cuisine could be one of the most devastating combinations on the face of the earth, and I had to know if they were capable. I won't say a word except, go there. There's no other way to put it. Beyond this, VERY KIND, fast, helpful and extremely polite staff. I also add excellent wine, both in terms of availability and wine choices. Overall excellent, I will 100% return every time I'm in Bari.

Andrea uses passion in his work; offers, suggests and talks about dishes and products (all selected and of high quality) with the right measure.
