10/11/2025: An exceptional experience, with a rustic atmosphere, but true to local tradition... But the most important thing is the food! Spectacular. Plus, if you add the friendliness of the owners, it was a real hit. Highly recommended.

07/05/2025: IL SAGITTARIO, l’unico vero classico ristorante di Polignano a Mare, uno di quelli che ormai non esistono quasi più nelle località turistiche ma che, per fortuna, è riuscito a resistere negli anni grazie alla sua capacità di adeguarsi, evolversi ed adattarsi ai tempi restando sempre ancorato alla tradizione… Nato come un ristorante a 360 gradi (carne, pesce, pizza), oggi ha inclinato la barra del timone leggermente verso un menù di mare con una scelta vastissima ma, conservando comunque le “certezze” che lo hanno reso noto nel tempo come dei primi stupendi ed abbondanti o come le bistecche che potete ammirare in foto o delle ottime pizze (stile barese). Uno dei pochissimi locali di Polignano che sono riusciti a mantenere i prezzi ad un livello accettabile, anzi onesto, rimanendo punto di riferimento per tante famiglie e grandi (e piccole) tavolate di Amici. Super Consigliato!

02/04/2025: Per festeggiare la festa delle nostre ladies, siamo stati a pranzo presso il rinomato ristorante di Polignano a Mare "Il Sagittario". Tutto molto buono, portate extra ed un ringraziamento al sig. Domenico titolare del ristorante per aver esaudito le nostre richieste con piatti che non erano inseriti nel menù. Alla prossima!

14/11/2025: A great place. A wonderful atmosphere in an Italian restaurant with delicious food made with local produce. We were given an excellent wine with dinner; they asked us to choose it for us. An impressive wine list. The service was exceptional. Don't forget to leave a tip! They don't add it to the bill.

23/10/2025: After unfortunately finding ourselves in front of a closed restaurant yesterday (we hadn't checked the opening hours), we went back today and were both thrilled! The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was excellent – ​​consistently attentive and very helpful. Unfortunately, we don't speak Italian, but that wasn't a problem at all! Even as a vegetarian, I was extremely satisfied because the food was still delicious and typical of the region! I'd love to come back if I'm ever in the region again (and definitely specifically for this restaurant!). Thank you so much for letting us spend a lovely evening with you!

Poor quality, all the flavors are the same, and if you accidentally order an extra dish, even if it's not on the table, and you tell the waiter you don't want it, he'll leave it on your table! Smelly tuna. I don't understand this hype! Horrible! The only redeeming feature is the location!

12/11/2025: I travel 40 kilometers round trip every time because I wouldn't trade this sushi place for anything else. I've been coming here often for over a year and it's never disappointed me. Excellent food, super quality. Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: We went for lunch on both Wednesday and Sunday. On Wednesday, there was nothing to complain about; the appetizers and main courses were superb. I have a few complaints about Sunday, but I want to give a bonus because it was crowded and perhaps the organization wasn't perfect. I'll definitely go back, because the food was good and the dishes were well-prepared, hoping it was just a small Sunday lapse.

18/08/2025: I went to dinner at Cris&Bio and had an excellent experience. The waiter recommended some really excellent appetizers. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for the appetizer to be already on the table. Excellent service and spectacular desserts. The pizza was good, definitely worth returning. The only flaw was the location, it could be better.

16/08/2025: We went to this place for dinner on August 15th. As an appetizer, we had a "tasting of Japigia," consisting of homemade parmigiana (but it had nothing in common with the real Bari parmigiana), coppata strips (that is, two slices of cured meat that I could shred myself if I wanted, otherwise they arrive whole like at the supermarket), two stringy potato pizzas (actually, a pizza brick with very little potato), olives (a small bowl of 5), one mozzarella (translated as 1 knot), one small bowl of baked scamorza, and the inevitable Barivecchiana, which is two sgagliozze with chopped red tomatoes drizzled with olive oil (I would have preferred the inimitable sgagliozze with just salt). After finally finishing the appetizer, we moved on to the pizzas with Bari-style, thin-crust dough. It's a shame it was so thin you couldn't taste it, except for the extreme crunchiness that made it resemble a round layer of unsalted crackers. The sauce was also lacking in salt, making the pizza taste sweet. The pizza prices are average for this time of year, although, in my opinion, given the consistency of the dough and the limited toppings, they could be a little cheaper. A positive note is that they've created their own app. By signing up, you're entitled to an immediate €5 discount (which is applied regularly) and can accumulate points for future discounts. Overall, the place is pleasant. Improving the pizza dough and the dining area could make a significant improvement.

08/11/2025: Right in from of the train station. We tried the local coffee Leccesse coffee which is ice coffee with almond syrup no milk. It was good!

25/10/2025: We had coffee and this place was great too. I can honestly recommend any small Italian cafe in the city. They are all clean, high quality and have a friendly atmosphere.

25/10/2025: Wow what a beautiful family owned restaurant. I have been travelling in Puglia for over a few weeks now and this place stood out for seafood. Not only did the family carry good vibes and bring a welcoming energy. Everything was so fresh and well pricedl! Highly recommend stopping here while in Giovinazzo.

20/10/2025: Excellent experience. Quality products, well-selected, and attentive service. Prices are also competitive, which isn't a given given the quality offered. Overall, a place worth exploring and recommending.

10/12/2025: A delightful little place. The location is both rustic and elegant. Sergio welcomes you with his mother, an excellent cook. The food is excellent, and the price is perhaps too reasonable. I recommend the stewed turnips and the Signora's panzerotti. The orecchiette with ragù are amazing, and the brasciole are to die for. The warm, fried artichokes are a symphony for us Baresi.... Highly recommended....

29/10/2025: The mixed fried fish and seafood risotto were very tasty. The dry white wine was also delicious. The music was old-fashioned, and the restaurant was a pleasure.

03/12/2025: A large fried panzerotto, inviting in color and aroma, fragrant from the first bite, generously blended with mozzarella and tomato. It makes you feel at peace with the world.

05/11/2025: I ate the best spaghetti all'assassina in all of Bari, certainly better than the most renowned ones.
