I had dinner with friends at this excellent restaurant in the heart of Bari Vecchia. Excellent food, quick and efficient service. I recommend the orecchiette with octopus ragù and the fried cuttlefish.

The staff are attentive, genuinely warm, and effortlessly well-mannered, the kind that make you feel like a guest rather than a customer. The setting? Pristine. Elegant without trying too hard. Even the dishware feels curated. Before you even begin, they welcome you with three small amuse-bouche of local delicacies, like a quiet introduction to Apulian flavors. I had: – Gluten-free fried artichokes, perfectly crisp and honestly divine – Soft caprino goat cheese with freshly made focaccia barese My Main was handmade orecchiette with ragù di polpo… rich, delicate, unforgettable 🐙 What stood out most is how much they care. They don’t just serve food, they guide you into what Bari really is. Also worth mentioning: 🐾 Super dog-friendly. Chihuahua on lap? Not even a second glance. And the prices? Surprisingly fair for this level. Good food and service, little pricey.

Uninteresting food. Salmon as a starter (by the sea). The tièles, a local specialty, are made with overcooked rice, potatoes that are almost burnt, and tasteless mussels. The wine list is more interesting, especially for regional wines.

For a special occasion, I came to celebrate at this place because a friend who lives in Bari had recommended it to me as one of the best. First of all, it's right in the center, just outside Bari Vecchia. The place is very cute and refined, and the waiters are always very friendly and professional. The service is fast, and a very positive note must also be given to their bread basket, which also includes focaccia, which are spectacular. As an appetizer, we ordered a mix of raw and cooked fish. This was followed by a fish soup, which is for two, and with this we even mopped up the bread and were more than satisfied. What can I say: a place definitely recommended, especially for special occasions, and I hope to return soon to try more of their delicacies.
