06/04/2025: Excellent pizzeria and chip shop in the heart of the Carrassi district. The panzerotti in particular, both fried and baked, are beautiful and substantial... a real delight. The service is quite quick, even on a Saturday evening, and if you order takeaway there is the possibility of sitting on chairs outside the restaurant. It's ideal if you want to grab something on the go.

03/10/2024: What can I say, a place with a genuine owner who knows how to advise you in every way. Very intimate as a place, we were pampered until the end. Congratulations for the genius of the drink list. I will be back!!!!

25/05/2025: Wonderful place, the real Italian atmosphere. The dishes are delicious, we ordered ravioli with meat and glass of local wine, we paid 22 €, tip is included. Inside is rather titghtly. Fully recommend.

28/03/2025: I ate a cereal croissant and drank a coffee, the croissant dough was really excellent, but the cream was really too much inside and I would have expected a more artisanal cream, more home-made since it was a pastry shop, however it was good, average. Nothing to say about the coffee, good.

04/05/2025: I'm in via Napoli with my two children for a dessert, we find ourselves in front of this run-down pastry shop but we decide to brace ourselves and go in. At first glance the pastries were also nice. We decide to order some of them, reading the receipt I was scared: 4 euros for a "nun's tit" (that's what they call it in Bari). AFTER HAVING ASKED FOR A RECEIPT THREE TIMES, AN OLD OLD WOMAN (I presume a relative of the bartenders) YELLS AT ME IN THE BARESE LANGUAGE: "WE PAY THE VAT". AFTER YET ONE SOLICITATION, THE RECEIPT ARRIVED FROM A LITTLE BOY WITH HIS HANDS DIRTY WITH POWDERED SUGAR. After touching the money without washing his hands, he takes the sweets while conspicuously chewing gum with his mouth open. THE PASTRY ARRIVED ON THE TABLE. I KNOW SOME KIDS PLAYING CARDS WITH BETTING (they looked like minors). LASTLY AS THE ICING ON THE CAKE THE PASTRY WERE SOUR AND STOMACHING HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I give 2 stars only out of pity for the two kids who served. Even though as soon as I noticed the horrible taste of the pastries we were insulted in Bari dialect.

27/04/2025: Great pizzeria restaurant. The pizzas were excellent and the local wine was appreciable. The waitress spoke English and was extremely friendly. Bravo to her.

17/05/2025: The restaurant has a great view of the sea and the waiters are always very friendly, smiling and helpful. However, the waiting times were very long, the pasta is without salt, the cutlery is dirty and among the options for vegans we only have the usual pasta with sauce and grilled vegetables. Furthermore, the table cannot choose more than two different types of first courses to prepare. For this reason, our lunch was not an optimal experience.

I must admit that there was a small misunderstanding regarding the starters at the beginning of the meal, which created a slight initial discomfort. However, once this moment was over, I must say that the subsequent courses were definitely appreciable. The quality of the food turned out to be good. I would like to say a few specific words about the service received at Officina del Gusto, which deserves a separate mention. I found him very precise and careful to get all the courses out together (which for 10 people is not so easy). In particular, the waitress who served us was truly exceptional - a "golden girl", as they say. Professional, kind and helpful, qualities that are increasingly difficult to find in dining room staff nowadays. If I were in the owner's shoes, I absolutely wouldn't let it slip away. It made the experience even more enjoyable.
