31/12/2024: Visitado en nuestro camino de regreso a nuestro hotel todos los días para una bebida de esquí apres descarada! Sirven IPA adecuado que era difícil de encontrar, y la pizza gratis mientras bebes es un gran gesto! También cenamos aquí en dos ocasiones, pasta y hamburguesas eran agradables, pero las pizzas eran increíbles. Personal muy atento y amable que se tomó el tiempo para recordar nuestro pedido en la segunda vez que visitamos! Vale la pena reservar una mesa si vas más tarde k la noche, ya que siempre está ocupado, especialmente si hay fútbol encendido.

12/07/2024: Este es un gran lugar con gente amable y un maravilloso almuerzo de tres platos! Llegamos un poco tarde para nuestra reserva y nos acomodaron amablemente los tres. Tuvimos una encantadora elección de pastas, platos principales y verduras. ¡El vino blanco fue excelente! El restaurante está muy ocupado con mucha gente local, lo que para nosotros hace que nuestras comidas sean más interesantes. Recomiendo encarecidamente venir aquí si es posible.

15/07/2023: A chaque passage depuis de nombreuses années le repas est une succession de surprises plus goûteuses les unes que les autres Du grand art servi en simplicité accompagné de vin produit par le propriétaire viticulteur de montagne Mention spécial pour le Malliolo 2018 bien charpenté et tout en rondeur pour accompagner le repas Bravo a Serena et à son équipe Plus qu un détour une étape indispensable pour cultiver le gout du bien manger

01/09/2024: Siamo stati a cena presso la pizzeria. Locale tranquillo ed ottima pizza, davvero molto buona! Anche i dolci erano buoni. Personale gentilissimo. Super consigliato.

11/02/2024: Maybe we were just unlucky? There were so many little things that accumulated to us having a bad week. If we had been in any other room and sat somewhere else for dinner, we probably would have overlooked some of the smaller stuff. The good bits: Ski in ski out. Large room Beautiful Jacuzzi bath (which I couldn't fill) Stunning views from restaurant (if you're allowed to sit in there) All you can eat breakfast/dinner. Spa visually good. The bar man was excellent Bad bits: Poor customer throughout The window in our room was a glorified skylight. The base was approx 7ft off the floor so absolutely no view and a dark room. The jacuzzi bath had no plug. I asked reception twice and still no plug, rendering said bath an awkward to use shower. Drinks at breakfast and in the spa came in disposable plastic cups (but free water was available) Drinks at dinner came in glasses however water is €3 a bottle. When we checked in, our toilet constantly refilled. Took two days to be fixed. The radiator in the room made an awful wail of a nose, to the point it was impossible to relax in the room. Adjusting the TRV made no difference. Plumber came to look while the heating was off and couldn't find a problem reported again to reception who seemed irritated that I was there, told me that the TRV shouldn't work as if I made my room colder the rest of the hotel would get too warm. (That's not how it works). Asked to move rooms but told hotel was fully booked. Phoned Crystal and the plumber came back the following evening. The valve had seized. Plumber fixed the noise but we were stuck with heating on full whack all week. The first evening while queuing for dinner I joked to my partner that 'i guess these are the seats you get if you upset the waiters'. We proceeded to be shown to those exact seats where we were located for the week. We were lucky enough to be seated in a narrow corridor at the base of the lifts and stairwell. The door to the pool was directly opposite us so we were often treated to the smell of chlorine during our meal. The food was fine, nothing special but the veg and potatoes were often cold. There were no windows and you had to fight past people to get to your table. There were two small side rooms off our corridor that had also become dinning rooms which I'm not sure we're much better but we're laid out in a slightly more sociable manner, and weren't a literal corridor. The restaurant seemed to lack waiters, on one occasion we were 25 minutes into our meal before we were offered a drink of any kind. Waiters seemed run off their feet going to and from the bar. The Spa area costs £10pp for the week. Why not include that in the general cost? The floor within the spa is borderline dangerous. I saw several people slip and almost fall. On two occasions I saw the decking style flooring lift up from people walking. The sauna door didn't shut and the shower handle got thrown on the floor by almost everybody who used it. This seems to have been highlighted in previous reviews too confirming that the hotel has no interest in fixing issues, with the mentality of guests will leave at the weekend before another batch come. On day of departure we were woken at 5am by staff cleaning the adjacent rooms, hoovering, chatting loudly. When asked politely to keep the noise down the obliged by stopping hovering but other noise contained until our alarm at 0630. Hotel is 100% crystal bookings, I don't know if this was a factor in reception staff not seeming to care or have any personal investment in the hotel Everything we thought we paid extra for above a more budget hotel we found lacking. Poor service, a beautiful view I had no access to and average food. After a week in Hotel Principi di Piemonte, my partner and I are leaving feeling we have been treated as second class citizen's throughout our time here.

22/01/2024: Location and room both very poor. The location is a shuttle ride from town, which is problematic. Biggest issue was the room. In the attic, window at head height. The most miserable room to stay on an alpine holiday. Hotel staff and Crystal rep very unhelpful. Beware and do your research before you book this hotel.
