27/08/2025: We can't bring ourselves to accept the €40 lunch on August 15, 2025. It's an exorbitant price for a bare-bones portion and poor quality, with potatoes in their skins and wine on tap. What Caritas offered to the poor is much better.

03/03/2025: Pizza was okay, service was okay. BUT €35 for a pizza, Coke, and coffee. Unfortunately, the owner was very rude.

10/08/2025: A café and pastry shop in the historic center of Ceva, with a porticoed terrace. Tastefully decorated, the tables are too close together. Service is slow, at least during the recommended time of day. The pastries are tempting. The breakfast brioche is generous, but the classic cappuccino, at €3.30, is overpriced.

10/08/2025: Delicious coffee, friendly people, and lovely little pastries. The local Italians are always out on the terrace, and there's a great atmosphere. It's especially lively on market days in Ceva.

01/09/2025: We had pizzas in various flavors. The pasta was very good and well-filled!! The Birra Rossa was very good. The waitress was very good, smart, and kind. The Carbonara was delicious, and the Tiramisu was amazing!!

05/09/2025: I'm writing this review on the last night I stayed here with my mom, and I'm truly sad to leave this enchanting Grotta dell'Angelo tomorrow! We spent two wonderful days here in beautiful Gubbio, in this hotel located in the heart of the historic center, close to some of the main attractions, as well as a pharmacy, post office, tobacconist, and newsstand. It's also close to convenient free underground parking. This hotel has style, an ancient and elegant feel that makes you feel at home. Even if you're staying here for the first time, you feel like you're returning to a place you've been before, one of those beautiful childhood memories where you fell in love with the place and the days seemed eternal. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, the grill master is impeccable, the waitresses are super friendly, charming, and professional... the cuisine is epic in every sense, delicious food and generous portions! The room is spacious and clean, this hotel has heart and soul in every way, and it's run by wonderful people. And when you smoke a cigarette at the end of the day, before going to bed, in the alleyway accessible from the back exit, you reflect and feel grateful for the wonderful experience this place and the people who work here have given you. Thank you so much, guys (and girls!), we're so happy we stayed with you, we recommend everyone do the same, and even Donald Duck (whom I have here on my bedside table) shares! We'll be back! :)

13/04/2025: I write this review with regret, because I have very positive memories of this restaurant, visited about eight years ago, always in January. At the time I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere, with the fireplace lit, grilled meat and typical dishes of the area, many of which were based on truffles. Returning this year, I unfortunately found a general decline in attention and care, both in the environment and in the gastronomic offer. The fireplace was turned off, and the meat was prepared exclusively on the griddle — which, in my opinion, does not offer the same experience. The menu offered first courses such as carbonara and amatriciana, good but common, easily available elsewhere. What I missed was precisely the identity of the territory: no proposals linked to truffles, which years ago were instead the protagonist of the menu. Furthermore, the service showed some rigidity right from the start, with the waiter placing limits on our choice of dishes ("this one yes, this one no"), generating a sense of disorientation. In cases like these, it would be useful to set up an external blackboard or an updated menu that informs customers about real availability, allowing an informed choice right at the entrance. The selection was limited and, personally, I did not find enough stimulation in the menu to fully enjoy the meal. I chose the bare minimum out of courtesy, but then concluded lunch elsewhere, where I was able to enjoy tastings of truffles and fresh local cured meats. I'm sorry to have to express a negative opinion, but I hope that this review will be accepted as a constructive contribution. The place has great potential, also due to its beauty and tourist location, and I sincerely hope to be able to return there one day and rediscover the quality and authenticity that I had appreciated in the past. I write with affection and with the hope of a future relaunch.

30/07/2025: We went for an aperitif. We weren't satisfied. The focaccia was disappointing, and the beer wasn't cold. In fact, we didn't eat it, but took it home. You can't drink a beer that isn't cold!! And to think that it had been ordered very cold.

10/07/2025: Breakfast was unsatisfactory: butter croissants, probably just baked on site, but in any case similar to those found in supermarket bakeries. The filling was industrial-grade custard, reminiscent of packaged brioche in color and flavor. I certainly expected more from this place: I was hoping to find, in a bakery specializing in bread and leavened goods, a croissant made on-site and not a supplier product, like in any café. Cappuccino served at the table for €2.30. Courteous service. Regarding the response that the clerk offered another product at no additional cost, I understand my disappointment and emphasize that I was not offered anything more than what I ordered, and I did not comment on my disappointment with the product to the kind lady, as I do not believe she is the production worker. 04/05/2025: Decent experience. The cover price is absurd: €3 for 1 placemat and 1 paper napkin and 1 pack. of breadsticks, if you eat pizza or hamburgers they won't bring you bread. I got the hamburger, decent but very messy. The panna cotta is good. Medium/high price for the quality of the products and the little choice outside of burgers and pizzas, lots of fried food, no vegetables. But it's more of an aperitif place. Good for pizza/burgers and beer.

15/08/2025: Stop by to grab some sandwiches to eat in the mountains. They have a wide selection of high-quality cold cuts and cheeses at moderate prices. There's also a bar with appetizers and platters, or dishes like gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese, a local product. Attentive and friendly service. Recommended.

06/07/2025: Sono arrivato, ed erano già presenti delle persone e se dopo 5 minuti non chiamavo avremmo dovuto aspettare ancora.... e sinceramente non mi sembra il caso anche perché il locale non era pieno né all' esterno e né all' interno e una persona all' esterno se ne anche andata.....

03/06/2025: Not a big but comfortable place, friendly and kind staff with short waiting times, pizzas and desserts on the menu, wide choice of beers. Large and thin pizza highly digestible, excellent quality ingredients. Normal prices, well done!

01/09/2025: Compared to many years ago, when it was a real Japanese restaurant, it's changed a lot, especially in terms of the quality, which has deteriorated. Overall, however, it's still a good all-you-can-eat sushi place, even if it's not the best in Alba.

23/08/2025: My wife and I always go there. Delicious sushi made with the freshest ingredients. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel completely pampered. Highly recommended, undoubtedly the best!
