15/04/2026: I had an aperitivo at Gastronomia Il Sorriso and had a really good time. The atmosphere is simple yet refined, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The aperitivo is generous, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients; you can tell they've put a lot of care into the selection. The variety is also good, with appetizers and unusual options. The staff is friendly and puts you at ease right away. The prices are fair for what's on offer. A place you'll gladly return to for a delicious aperitivo, but above all, one that's very well-made.

02/05/2026: Personally, I found all the first courses excellent.
For dessert, we had zabaglione, and it was delicious.
Unfortunately, the second courses, which, being the most expensive dishes, should be the highlights, were a thousand times inferior to the first courses and desserts.
The braised beef should have been cooked longer.
While the fillet, despite being ordered rare, arrived medium rare, with not even a hint of pink in it, it was a bit dry.
I recommend the restaurant, but I strongly advise against the second courses given their cost and poor quality.

10/08/2025: I was out for a bike ride, stopped in Cavallermaggiore, and asked where a pizzeria was open. They recommended "Nonna Ciccia"... excellent pizza, fair prices, and very kind staff! Thanks also to the girl who recommended it to me.

The food is very good, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the desserts are excellent (e.g., the trio of appetizers). An added bonus is the owner, who is very kind and makes everything feel very familiar. My only complaint: there's no printed menu. It's important to remember them, avoid choosing by exclusion, and stick to your budget.
07/03/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant; the fish was incredibly fresh, the dishes were impeccably cooked, and the portions were just right. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The quality/price ratio was more than reasonable. A wonderful discovery, an experience we'll definitely repeat!

04/04/2026: I went there for an aperitif on the recommendation of friends who had raved about it. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience: the cocktails were quite watered down, the platters were very bland. It wasn't expensive, but the overall experience was decidedly low.

20/05/2026: We absolutely loved this cozy soup restaurant! It's obviously very popular with the locals. I saw several people popping in for a quick lunch and going back to work, and lots of pickups as well. The restaurant owners are charming and hardworking, it was a pleasure to meet them and watch them run their place. The food was excellent: we loved the polpette and we tried the lentil and leek soups and they were both excellent. I'd definitely come back for a light and affordable meal.
