It's pleasant to sit there in the evening when it's 30 degrees Celsius. The service is extremely friendly and not at all intrusive.

We stayed at this establishment and were truly impressed. It's true, the ambiance is a bit dated, but the location's charm is unique: the view is simply breathtaking!
Besides the splendid setting, we ate divinely. But the real highlight is the hospitality, which I would describe as superb. A special thanks to the elderly lady at the register: a delightful, extremely kind person with a beautiful smile and attentiveness. She saw I had a cold and recommended an herb liqueur, which was a real cure-all; it cleared my mind instantly!
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. If we pass through Barolo again, we will definitely return with great pleasure.

On an unusually sultry day in the heart of the Barolo region, we were fortunate enough to have lunch on the Brezza family's welcoming terrace. We were pampered by Pietro's attentive and friendly service, which guided us through traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Special mention goes to the Alba-style carpaccio and the desserts. The wine from the family cellar was excellent. It was a delightful meeting with the longtime grandmother Carla (thanks for the tip! 😉). Bye bye, the four of Santa Rosalia!

Personally, I found all the first courses excellent.
For dessert, we had zabaglione, and it was delicious.
Unfortunately, the second courses, which, being the most expensive dishes, should be the highlights, were a thousand times inferior to the first courses and desserts.
The braised beef should have been cooked longer.
While the fillet, despite being ordered rare, arrived medium rare, with not even a hint of pink in it, it was a bit dry.
I recommend the restaurant, but I strongly advise against the second courses given their cost and poor quality.

The terrace was under renovation, and we had a company dinner and lunch. Friendly staff, homemade farri agnolotti, and delicious braised beef in Barolo.
