14/09/2025: The atmosphere is unique and absolutely delightful. The cuisine offers creative flair, though unfortunately not always perfectly successful. The quality-price ratio is always excellent, as is the courtesy of the staff. The owner sometimes gets annoyed with her husband (the chef), making her reprimands audible throughout the dining room. Kudos to her husband, who patiently (and professionally) replies in a very low voice. Definitely a place to return to again and again.

16/09/2025: We returned to the Langhe for the second time for a tasting at Vite Colte, and inevitably, I can't help but compare it to my first experience at another winery. Unfortunately, overall, this second visit was less convincing. But let's start with the strong points: the facility is truly splendid. The architecture is meticulously designed to guide visitors through the various stages of winemaking. The aesthetics evoke the region, both in its colors and in its references to Piedmontese tradition. The barrel room is undoubtedly the most evocative part and represents the true jewel of the winery. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, especially regarding the facility and the general winemaking processes. A few questions about the wines currently being produced remained unanswered, but overall the explanation was clear. Perhaps due to the tight schedule, I found the visit a bit rushed: personally, I would have preferred a slower pace and more informal interaction. Moving on to the tasting, unfortunately, I was the biggest disappointment. I had purchased the package on Freedom, which included two Barolos, a Barbaresco, and a Nebbiolo. In reality, we were served a Barolo, a Nebbiolo, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a Barbera d'Asti. Furthermore, the explanation of the wines was given all at once, leaving us to taste them on our own, accompanied by a platter of excellent cured meats, cheeses, and breadsticks. A more engaging approach, with a guided tasting step by step, would have made the experience much more interesting. That said, I still recommend visiting Vite Colte: the place is truly worth it and leaves a lasting impression. With a little more attention to the tasting, it could be an unforgettable experience.

20/07/2025: Highly recommended! We had lunch today, the place had an enchanting view! The dishes were very, very good, exquisite! I recommend the sweetbreads, they're crispy and melt in your mouth. Compliments to everyone. The Gallicchio family.

11/10/2025: It's simply perfect. The place is beautiful, very well-kept, and the staff is kind, helpful, and always smiling. The menu truly caters to everyone. For starters, being a pub, they have a nice selection of beers. The wood-fired pizza is delicious, thin and made with excellent ingredients. The meat is truly excellent, tender, and cooked to perfection. We tried their gnocchi alla bava, which were truly delicious. We also loved the desserts. The Bunet was perfectly made, as was the cheesecake. Highly recommended, especially for the quality/portion/price ratio!!!

31/10/2025: Finally, a real, contemporary #pizzeria! A very beautiful and modern place in the heart of #alba The place offers 6 different types of #dough and therefore 6 different products. From classic #pizza to various pseudo-focaccias, crunchy, crumbly, or soft, etc... We had the pizza regina, which is their version of the #pizzamargherita, and a crunchy one with #prosciuttocrudo and #burrata. Let's start with the #pizza, which is definitely excellent, especially for the truly high-quality ingredients and the excellent cooking. The dough rises beautifully; I found it to be halfway between a Neapolitan and a whole wheat pizza. I liked it, even though classic, well-made pizzas surpass it. Kudos to the croccante, on a much higher level. The dough rises well and is just the right amount of crunch, not too much, but just enough to make it enjoyable. Top ingredients, the #ham is exceptional and made the difference; I'd buy it again. This place also offers various #puff pastry #desserts, as the dough is at the heart of the project. We had a #gianduia #nyroll and a pistachio #saccottino. Incredible nyroll, perfect dough, soft and just the right amount of sweet with a devastating gianduia cream. The #saccottinio rose perfectly, the pistachio cream was good, but two notches below the roll. I would try the #singleportions, they looked amazing. The staff was absolutely friendly and knowledgeable and accommodated our various needs. If you come to Alba, you can't miss this place! 01/10/2025: Sergio and Loredana were truly a great discovery for us! We spent a wonderful weekend staying in the barrel, enjoying the pool and restaurant! Impeccable service, super kindness and helpfulness! We will definitely be back and we recommend it if you're looking for relaxation surrounded by well-kept and rejuvenating greenery!

We stayed one night in the wooden cabin, truly romantic, small but equipped with all the comforts: two deck chairs, an outdoor table, and a small indoor bar area with a coffee machine, water, juice, etc. The place is beautiful and relaxing, with an outdoor pool. The pizza is delicious. Sergio and his wife were two very kind hosts, very welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommended!

04/10/2025: The food is high quality, but I see a lot of incompetence in the service. I had the opportunity to eat there again this summer and I noticed unpleasant odors of dog urine in the garden.
