Good service and atmosphere,
Two Michelin signs but no star. Is this restaurant recommended? I doubt it. The food had potential for improvement

There are places that captivate you at first glance, and La Sbornia delle Langhe is undoubtedly one of them. The modern yet extremely refined architecture creates a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere, where every detail is thoughtfully crafted with taste and harmony.
Making the experience even more special is the all-female team, who guide guests throughout their gastronomic journey with professionalism, passion, and extraordinary attention to detail. Impeccable service makes every guest feel truly at the center of the experience.
It's no surprise that the restaurant was recommended by the Michelin Guide: the expressive power of the dishes speaks to a cuisine that is creative, technical, and deeply rooted in its identity. Among the dishes that won us over were the Caramelle with burrata and the Caciocavallo, calamari, and mussels, two dishes that showcase the fusion of Puglia with great balance, offering authentic and surprising flavors.
Special praise also goes to the restaurant's attention to food allergies and intolerances. In our case, the caciocavallo cheese was replaced with a delicate pea cream, a choice that not only met our needs but also made the dish even more original, elegant, and utterly unforgettable. This is the kind of attention to detail that truly makes the difference.
To top it all off, an extensive and well-constructed wine list, capable of satisfying even the most discerning palates and the most varied requests, with labels selected to best accompany each dish.
An experience that goes beyond simple lunch or dinner: La Sbornia delle Langhe is a place where architecture, hospitality, and haute cuisine blend in perfect harmony. Highly recommended.

A lovely restaurant in a beautiful area just outside Verduno. It's a shame there's no view, but it's new and very nice. The cuisine is a mixed bag. Shrimp and bonito were missing from the menu, replaced by tuna tartare and tuna again for the main course... not a good choice. Appetizers: good fried egg, rabbit tuna (a typical Piedmontese appetizer made with pork loin) was very modest, dry, under-seasoned, and flavorless. The GF tagliatelle were good, the crispy red mullet was excellent (but not for celiacs). The dessert was excellent: a tartlet with cream and meringue. Good wine list. Prompt and friendly service.

I hosted my 30th birthday party here, and everything was simply perfect. From the organization to the quality of the cuisine, every detail was taken care of with great professionalism, kindness, and attention.
The products are excellent, and the cuisine is truly top-notch. I've returned to the restaurant since, and I can confirm the same quality and impeccable service.
Absolutely guaranteed, highly recommended!

This Michelin-recommended restaurant boasts a stunning architecture that overlooks the Langhe landscape.
Two types of cuisine are offered: Piedmontese or seafood.
For my part, I preferred to stick with the local cuisine, opting for an excellent vitello tonnato, particularly the beautifully pink meat. Next up was the cheek, with an interesting presentation, which, for my taste, lacked only a little more sauce. Still, it was good!
Excellent selection of wines, including local, Italian, and international labels.
The service was impeccable. Our waitress was welcoming, attentive, and very friendly, and her recommendations were excellent.
The final bill may seem a bit steep, but it pays for the location and the attentive service.
Overall, it was a positive experience, definitely worth trying.

Lunch on April 13, 2026
Housed in a modern building with large windows and a tree-like supporting structure, the restaurant is elegant and minimalist in its furnishings (I admit I prefer warmer spaces), with well-spaced tables and excellent acoustics, at least on the rainy day of our lunch; the space in front of the restaurant is also very well-maintained.
The menu focuses primarily on Piedmontese tradition, but not exclusively, with the option of choosing between two set menus and the à la carte menu.
The wine list is adequate.
The overall assessment, while not exhaustive, given that we had a quick meal, is very positive, both in terms of the customer service (with the "treat" of the mini sandwich with Bra sausage and caramelized onions offered at the beginning and the cream puff at the end of the meal) and the quality of the dishes (some of which are difficult to find, such as the rabbit tuna, interpreted in a "fresher" way than the classic recipe).
The portions, as befits the type of place, aren't particularly generous, but you won't leave hungry.
The bill is reasonable for the type of place and therefore not cheap.
