24/02/2026: Thanks to a last-minute decision and inspired by the excellent reviews, I discovered this restaurant in Tortona. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the ambiance: meticulously designed, with colors and music creating an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The welcome was kind and attentive, making us feel immediately at ease. Moving on to the food, the saffron risotto and eggplant parmigiana were impeccable, both in flavor and presentation. We finished with a classic tiramisu, also carefully presented and truly delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant in Tortona and will definitely return.

19/02/2026: They refused a reservation via WhatsApp message because, due to a dietary requirement requiring protein-free foods for special medical purposes, they wouldn't be able to earn enough money. I quote the message verbatim: "Good morning, Osteria La Corte. I tried calling you back between tables because I'm working. I'm very sorry about your dietary requirement, but we can't reserve a table for you. We don't charge a cover charge, and therefore we wouldn't earn anything if, as I said, you eat food brought from home and little else. You'll also understand that Friday nights are a busy night. Thank you so much for thinking of us. Best regards."

18/11/2025: A typical Uba Volta trattoria with excellent food, cooked to perfection. The appetizers are special, the pizza is delicious, not to mention the spectacular grilled meats...and the homemade desserts are delicious...all topped off by the warm welcome from the family who runs the place. We'll definitely be back!

16/03/2026: It's a typical Tuesday evening, returning home after an afternoon spent carefree and having fun, and with the desire not to make my wife cook! So, what do we do? We opt for three take-out pizzas (one for the son), and the closest place was Casale Monferrato. I take Corso Valentino towards a well-known pizzeria, but I see this big, bright red sign and decide to stop. I don't really trust reviews... I like to try "things" in person since opinions are purely subjective... like this one! First of all, according to the receipt, they didn't charge me for the double mozzarella... thanks... and the Quattro Stagioni for €7?! (See also the price list photo). I'm still not entirely convinced! I pay, say goodbye, and go home. Well, in short, when I want a take-out pizza or to sit down to eat, I know where to go! Plus, as pictured, there's free parking and plenty of seating for eating in... not all kebab places offer this service. The photos on the walls are cute because they show different locations in Turkey! It seems fair and obvious to me!

The presentation of the food certainly plays in its favor, while the takeout option is decidedly overpriced, given that in this case, you can only take into account the quality of the food (fair), lacking in plating and service. Special mention for the papas ricas...very useful, though, for a cacas ricas!

09/12/2025: We ate here three consecutive nights: the food was delicious (we had appetizers, main courses, and desserts, all spectacular), with slight menu changes from night to night, allowing us to always try something new. The place was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were fair.

19/10/2025: Good morning, I was for lunch a few Sundays ago. As soon as we arrived, we immediately noticed the entrance door with very dirty glass. When we entered, even worse, cobwebs everywhere, very dark room. We asked to pull the curtains but they told us they were creased. Dirty cheese bowl with a portion of cheese and there were 6 of us. And we pointed it out, the only positive note was the girl who served us. We had to ask for the receipt. I absolutely do not recommend it. Mediocre food.

27/02/2026: Good fish, service a bit slow. We waited an hour for the pizza. We ordered the €30 fish menu with an appetizer, first course, and second course. The appetizer included three options: octopus carpaccio, stuffed zucchini flower, and a cold salad with squid and crabmeat. I would have skipped this one. The first course consisted of four stuffed agnolotti, perhaps a bit bland. The fried potatoes were very good, not greasy. Overall, we were quite satisfied.

28/01/2026: Clean place and helpful staff. The wait for the pizzas is a bit long, but it's always worth it; delicious!!

01/03/2026: We've been frequenting the Adria restaurant for years. Samantha and her chef partner are astonishing in the quality of their dishes, especially their excellent meats. Their wine selection is also impressive, with some hard-to-find labels. Excellent value.
