25/05/2025: We ate very well, the staff was kind and helpful.

04/05/2025: Simple and welcoming place. Lots of choice of first courses, second courses and desserts from the menu. Off the menu (elephant ear and Milanese ossobuco) exceptional! Super food!

10/06/2025: Reachable on foot in 10 minutes from the ancient village. Restaurant found on the occasion of the fritter fair held under the castle. When calling to find out if there was room, the owner was immediately friendly, also giving directions on the road and that even if there were no seats outside there was no problem for the presence of the dog. When we arrived the lady (wife) welcomed us warmly and that she had remedied outside by giving us a table in a corner. Friendliness also shown towards the dog by bringing him a bowl with fresh water. Professionalism of the owner also shown in the explanation of the menu. Excellent cuisine as well as the raw materials used and also the welcome appetizers very welcome. The only shame is that this place is quite far away otherwise it would become a fixed destination. If you pass by here stop by, it is really worth it!

In addition to this, the three flavors that were served to me had a terrible consistency. Overly smooth and melt them. Not even time to taste a few teaspoons before the ice cream was already water... Furthermore, I asked for the caramel flavor but I was served the fiordilatte flavour. Flavors too delicate in my opinion...

11/05/2025: Locale sporco e puzzolente, sia nella parte più esterna che in quella interna la sala è pervasa da un odore acre e quasi insopportabile considerando che bisogna consumare dei pasti. Menù scarno e con poca scelta, quasi tutti gli alimenti sono surgelati. Ho optato per un tagliere di salumi tanto per mangiare qualcosa. Ristorante non scelto da me e sinceramente non lo avrei mai scelto.

24/04/2025: Predisposizione dei posti molto semplice come si addice al locale. Pochi fronzoli, molta sostanza. Primo con verdure delizioso e arrivato finalmente molto caldo di modo che lo si possa gustare sempre alla giusta temperatura! Un dolce delizioso allo zabaglione anch'esso caldo con una panna superba. Una bottiglia di spumante La Scolca perfetto e ad un prezzo praticamente pari all'enoteca. Affabile il proprietario, sa intrattenere i clienti. Ottimo!

16/05/2025: Bar, with kitchen. Well-kept and well-kept environment. I ate a single dish (first course + second course + side dish). Really good dishes but small portions at the same price as those offering fixed menus. Pastry shop: I only ate a pasta dish, so limited evaluation, below-average quality. Acceptable coffee but above-average prices.

08/04/2025: Generally for those who travel for work, like us who travel all over the place, they often avoid making motorway journeys to stop and eat, certainly convenient for parking, expensive because you pay much more in motorway restaurants, and they are often pre-cooked or defrosted foods! The alternative is to extend the journey where you can find places to eat... Sometimes it's luck, sometimes not! But this time on our way we came across this trattoria bar by chance, so we stopped and sat inside, extremely friendly staff, welcoming environment, a fair menu, because rich menus are often not synonymous with freshness. Here at the Cavour gastronomy, we found what we were hoping for, fresh, excellent quality food. There were six of us and everyone was satisfied. Obviously also worth mentioning is the €12 price for a complete menu including coffee. So we can only say well done to the hosts of the Cavour gastronomy bar!!! And if we find ourselves passing through those parts for work, we won't fail to pay a visit.

06/01/2025: Beautiful location in the countryside (unfortunately it closes to move to the city of Alessandria). I had been there on other occasions with friends and work colleagues, I was there at Christmas this year and as always I had a great time. Professional, courteous and very polite staff. The owner who helps in the dining room is really attentive, there was a child at our table and he always took care to ask if he had to prepare an alternative to the menu (I really appreciated this even if I didn't need it). A Christmas menu different from the usual, with truly excellent Sardinian cuisine dishes. The icing on the cake is the quality/price ratio ad hoc.

22/11/2024: Already been a while ago, but we visites this very cosy and nice restaurant in october 2013 and i mist say, we have been treated as kings! The food is very very nice and tastefull and Renzo and Philip are extremely good hosts! We highly recommend this little restaurant!
