20/02/2025: Ottimo ristorante, bello negli arredi e negli spazi. Locali puliti e ordinati. Personale molto simpatico e preparato. Abbiamo cenato in 4 amici con piatti veramente buoni e caratteristici. Menù diversificato con pietanze ben preparate. Buona la carta dei vini. Prezzi comunque nella norma stante la qualità dei prodotti. Sicuramente consigliato.

24/07/2025: I've been a customer at this store a few times, because it's right near my house.
Lately, I have to be honest, there's no reason to go in anymore.
The cakes are always the same, '90s-style, the mood is under the feet of the people who work there, especially the fake, hypocritical smiles of one of the two girls at the counter.
The last cake I bought had multiple white hairs inside. I was truly disappointed.
After so many years in business, I can't understand how a place that was run so well for so many years could have ended up like this, perhaps due to mismanagement of the staff and the organization.
The environment has become sad, dark, and overpriced.
I hope this review can change that.

21/04/2025: Full marks. Here is the motto
"Quality and Care" program. We're in line...always. Ovada means farinata. Typical locality, rustic in the middle of town. People come and go and certainly keep coming back. 5 stars so that everything stays as it is.
As a tip:
Buy rolls beforehand and put the farinata in them. Fingers stay clean and the taste is simply great.

10/06/2025: We went to eat on a Saturday night, for my birthday. Really excellent food, Piedmontese specialties cooked to perfection. Very efficient and friendly service. Very pleasant atmosphere, in a small town in Monferrato. They also prepared a delicious cake for us to celebrate our birthday. Absolutely recommended. Vincenzo
10/06/2025: What a disappointment! 😞 the house appetizer was meager (nothing like the classic Piedmontese appetizers), 10 fried anchovies paid €1.50 each 😱.

The staff is very kind and attentive, and the food is excellent. We ate both the main course and the pizza. Everything was delicious; the pizza arrived piping hot! And the dough was really good. Everything was fresh and plentiful, even the fruit salad at the end.
So, we had a really good time.

21/07/2025: Pretty cool beach bar, great music, although sometimes too loud for conversation. Very busy, so there's plenty of staff, and it moves pretty quickly. There's always a special event on Friday evenings.
The food is good, but nothing special. Drinks are good too. One point deducted because they only give you plastic glasses, even when you ask on-site. I don't even want to know how much plastic waste is produced on the beach alone every day :( It's the same at all kiosks, though.

05/07/2025: I say it honestly: it is not the best food in the area, there are better piayyi and less good dishes (which is very normal) but overall the place is truly 5 stars.
Friendly and helpful service, always attentive to needs and willing to adapt some dishes based on needs.
The menu is extensive and offers a choice for everyone: meat, fish, pizza (the focaccino/focaccia al fornay is better than the pizza in my opinion) and a lot of vegetarian options, with several dishes also adaptable to those who follow a vegan diet (ask the staff!).
The place is very large, it is advisable to book because it is very inflated due to its extensive menu and the fact that it is truly a place suitable for families and large groups. Furthermore, in the summer there is a really pleasant outdoor garden that makes you forget that the place is located on a busy provincial road (the garden is on the opposite side and you cannot hear the noise of the cars).
Plus: large parking lot.
I really recommend it to anyone who is in the area and needs a quick lunch/dinner or to anyone who needs to book for a large group with different tastes/dietary needs.
