Sono stato negativamente sorpreso dai prezzi che sono aumentati. Servizio non male, proprietario esperto e disponibile. Ristorante situato nel centro Ovada Parcheggio disponibile.

14/02/2025: Ambiente moderno ma con un anima classica, connubio perfetto. Abbiamo iniziato con un aperitivo, per me un cocktail (ideato dal Barman) e un calice di vino per mia moglie. Veniamo omaggiati da un piccolo entreè sfizioso, in abbinamento abbiamo scelto dal menù panissa e un assaggio di formaggi davvero formidabili (io personalmente esaltato) A seguire gnocchi viola con fonduta, guazzetto di pesce e crostacei (era tutto un susseguirsi di "mamma mia che buono") Abbiamo concluso con un dolce condiviso, la panna cotta al cioccolato (presenza scenica meravigliosa) per nulla stucchevole, degno finale di questa cena. Una piccola degustazione di due whisky anche quella fatta scegliere al barman (decisamente perfetta) Beh... che dire? Quando entri in un posto sereno e ne esci più felice, soddisfatto allora è il POSTO GIUSTO. Complimenti a tutti lo STAFF, dalla cucina alla sala. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Caffè a chiudere. Non è previsto il menù degustazione; à la carte 3 antipasti da 13 a 15€; 7 primi da 12 a 14€; 7 focacce da 8 a 9€; 5 secondi di carne da 13 a 22€; 4 secondi di pesce da 16 a 20€; 3 contorni da 3 a 4€; 39 pizze da 5 a 12€; 11 dessert a 6€. 16/02/2025: Situato alle porte di Ovada provenendo da Novi Ligure questo bel locale occupa il piano terra di una villa a lato della strada. L'ambiente è arioso e luminoso, i tavoli ben disposti, l'arredamento di buon gusto. il menù non è molto ampio ma ben assortito con proposte di gastronomia locale ben cucinate e ottimamente presentate. Pregevole la presenza nel menù la possibilità di ordinare anche delle focacce farcite che sicuramente torneremo per provare. Noi abbiamo preso una classica milanese di generose proporzioni con ottime patate fritte al punto giusto e anch'esse di grande pezzatura. Ottimo e gustoso il magatello rosato servito come vitello tonnato con salsa della tradizione e buone verdure di contorno, Per finire abbiamo diviso una deliziosa zuppa inglese casalinga. Con un quartino di vino rosso, acqua e caffè abbiamo speso 53 euro in totale che ritengo una spesa coerente con il tipo di locale ed il servizio offerto.

16/02/2025: top experience almost perfect food light but characteristic atmosphere very fast staff despite the amount of people. almost the only flaw, it will only apply to some, the place is a little noisy but nothing that ruins the experience. our group of more than 20 people booked the same afternoon and managed to find a place! the staff were very busy for the amount of people but they were very fast and efficient, all the orders arrived in a short time, my wife ordered the ribs and the waitress promptly warned that her order would take a little longer, very professional in my opinion. I took the pulled chicken, very, very good, the portion was just right, not enough to leave you still hungry and not too much, just to leave room for a little more. the prices are not low but they are, in my opinion, fair for the quantity and quality of the food. For two of us, having taken two main courses, one to share and a dessert, we spent 47 euros, which for this quality I would say is fair. as written the only flaw in my opinion is the noisy place, even when the music is absent the noise of the chatter is a little loud but absolutely acceptable, then at a certain time the music started playing at full volume, slightly annoying but I don't know if it was a particular evening or if every evening and so, in any case even with the music I highly recommend this place.

02/01/2025: The chicken is excellent but also the burgers. Quick service, staff always helpful and friendly. The beer is also good, we bought the one-litre bottle and refill it every time.

06/04/2025: I would like to be as constructive as possible without the slightest intention of misjudging the beautiful venue and the very kind and professional staff. If I gave a star to the food it is not for the excellent toppings of the pizzas but exclusively for the dough which I found too chewy and bland, with the edges and bottom of the pizza too burnt in my opinion. The consistency of the pasta unfortunately ruined the experience. I would suggest looking for solutions to make the dough crispier.

06/04/2025: I'm really sorry to give a negative review to this beautiful, clean and pleasant place, run by young, willing, very kind and customer-focused people. The pizzas are topped with excellent quality ingredients, but I found the dough too chewy, with the edges and bottom of the pizza largely burnt, which being "bitter" make the flavor even less pleasant, which is a shame.

08/04/2025: Generally for those who travel for work, like us who travel all over the place, they often avoid making motorway journeys to stop and eat, certainly convenient for parking, expensive because you pay much more in motorway restaurants, and they are often pre-cooked or defrosted foods! The alternative is to extend the journey where you can find places to eat... Sometimes it's luck, sometimes not! But this time on our way we came across this trattoria bar by chance, so we stopped and sat inside, extremely friendly staff, welcoming environment, a fair menu, because rich menus are often not synonymous with freshness. Here at the Cavour gastronomy, we found what we were hoping for, fresh, excellent quality food. There were six of us and everyone was satisfied. Obviously also worth mentioning is the €12 price for a complete menu including coffee. So we can only say well done to the hosts of the Cavour gastronomy bar!!! And if we find ourselves passing through those parts for work, we won't fail to pay a visit.
