13/08/2025: Stumbled upon this place after looking for a restaurant in the area that would serve pasta dishes. Called and made a reservation (recommended as they do get busy) and they were happy to accommodate. The pasta dishes on the menu currently are a 3 tomato spaghetti, and a cacio e pepe parpadelle with prawn tartare, so not your average lengthy list of pasta dishes but more bespoke and delicious. The 3 chocolate mousse with tangerine gel for dessert was amazing, as was the White Chocolate Lava Cake. So save room for dessert. The ambiance of the whole restaurant is lovely, and the staff friendly and attentive. Just watch out for mosquitoes if you’re going in the height of summer and go prepared with repellent spray etc. as they were out in force. The restaurant had incense burner repellent measures in place and no slight on them that mozzies were present, but something to be aware of to go prepared!

08/08/2025: We had dinner on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. There were 4 of us adults. We had two courses each and dessert. Everything was good, and none of the desserts appealed to me. I opted for a rum. We dined out, and unfortunately, the midges proved to be a nuisance. The portions were a bit small, and the free welcome drink was so small that perhaps it would be better not to serve it. 4 stars because the food was good in a nice place with good service, but the dishes weren't unforgettable.

20/08/2025: Great place to eat! Staff here doesn’t speak English at all, only Italian. Believe me - it would NOT be a problem :) Menu: there is no menu, just woman tells you what dishes available today. Food: big portion, delicious, nothing to add here. Parking: there are some parking spots opposite the restaurant and next to it.

14/07/2025: We stayed two nights to get away and relax, and that's exactly what we found: we were welcomed like family, with kindness and friendliness, yet professionalism. The place is gorgeous, with on-site parking, surrounded by greenery yet just steps from supermarkets and amenities. The rooms are cozy and clean, with air conditioning, which is always a plus. The restaurant is delicious, even offering some vegetarian options. The pool is gorgeous, very well-maintained, and has a fantastic view. All this at a truly fair price. Add to this the fact that, in addition to the courtesy and excellent service, there are also wonderful donkeys and ponies eager for cuddles and grass to eat, and I'd say it's the perfect place!

31/07/2025: We went to this restaurant on Friday and chose two menus for €41 each. Unfortunately, shortly after the appetizer, I felt ill. We immediately notified the waiter, but were told that the orders had already been taken and that we would have to pay the full amount even if we didn't eat. My husband then asked for at least takeaway. After a half-hour wait (so the food wasn't even ready), they handed us two containers without even a bag. The portions didn't seem to correspond to two full menus at all. Total bill: €97. We understand the internal policies, but we would have expected more flexibility, attention, and a modicum of empathy. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience that we can't recommend. P.S. In response: We never asked to take the cooked meat home! When we told them we were leaving (because I wasn't feeling well, not joking), we were told we would have to pay the full amount anyway. No one asked for anything free, but if you tell me I have to pay for everything because the meat is already on the stove, and then make someone who's sick wait half an hour, you'll understand that we found it unacceptable. You expect understanding... but understanding for someone who's sick? Come on. The polite way we left doesn't erase our disappointment at how the situation was handled. No one expected us to be "gifted dinner," but we would have expected more tact in a moment of obvious difficulty.

13/07/2025: I run a small restaurant on Lake Como, and I know what it means to offer a high-quality experience to guests. I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Canton di Vino in Avigliana, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The evening was truly memorable, thanks to the attention to detail, the cleanliness, and the welcoming staff. The service was impeccable, thanks to Federico, a very young, knowledgeable and passionate "meal companion," who guided me through the culinary experience, sharing interesting stories about the dishes and local products. The selection of dishes was excellent, and the Trentino wine Federico selected was the perfect accompaniment. What struck me most was the authenticity and passion of the people who run the restaurant, which is also evident in their social media reels. They truly are skilled at telling the story of life in our industry. In short, I can undoubtedly recommend Ristorante Canton di Vino in Avigliana for the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the unique sensory experience. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who appreciates QUALITY and PASSION!

11/08/2025: Locale accogliente, suggestivo ma sperduto e con una strada di accesso abbastanza impegnativa seppur asfaltata. Abbiamo optato per un menù degustazione piemontese e sono rimasta colpita dalla bontà dei piatti. Sono celiaca e mi hanno servito un menù completo senza glutine -- pasta e dolce compresi, vedi foto. Il dolce poteva essere scelto da un ampio carrello dolci anche con dolci senza glutine -> nel mio caso ho optato per una torta di nocciole cosparsa da salsa allo zabaione. Porzioni equilibrate. Il menù meritava senz'altro la massima votazione, tuttavia la mia valutazione non positiva è stata influenzata dalla posizione del nostro tavolo. Ci trovavamo proprio a fianco della porta della toilette e abbiamo subito il flusso dei clienti che entravano e uscivano per tutto il pasto. Il problema peggiore è stata la maleducazione di alcuni avventori che non controllavano che la porta fosse chiusa e come conseguenza ci siamo dovuti alzare diverse volte per chiuderla noi per non mangiare con l'odore del sapone. E' vero che immediatamente dietro la porta c'erano i lavandini e che le postazioni toilette erano chiuse ciascuna da una seconda porta, tuttavia un tavolo in questa posizione non andrebbe messo. Consiglio al ristorante di rivalutare la disposizione dei tavoli (se non l'ha già fatto in questi mesi). E' infatti un peccato non poter dare la massima valutazione quando i piatti sono così buoni.

10/08/2025: La cena è stata davvero ottima, dall'antipasto ai primi, si capisce che la qualita delle materie prime è davvero eccellente. Anche i vini sfusi sono ottimi, abbiamo preso prosecco e bonarda - c'è comunque una fornitissima carta dei vini. Quello che colpisce è il carrello dei dolci! Ce n'è una gran varietà, è possibile fare diversi assaggi e sono tutti squisiti. Il servizio è ottimo. Solo una osservazione: le porzioni sono un po' piccole: il cibo è cosi buono, ma...finisce subito!

14/07/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and I have to say we had a really good time. The food was delicious and the service was quick and courteous. They have a thoughtful selection of quality ingredients and a variety of doughs. Everything was delicious, both the savory and sweet options. You can also sit outside because they have a small terrace. Since the restaurant isn't very big, I recommend booking in advance.

24/08/2025: An excellent experience!!! We had lunch in a setting that, in my opinion, absolutely represents the culinary essence of the Monferrato Astigiano. The combination of the "Cascina Stella" meats, expertly prepared and prepared by the chef, and the wines such as Barbera, Ruche, and Grignolino, which are the extraordinary excellences of this corner of paradise that is the Basso Monferrato, was wonderful. We will definitely be back!!!

22/08/2025: We're Marco and Cristina, coming from Turin on a day trip to visit Montemagno Castle. We were planning on having lunch there "without a reservation." We went to the Giogo restaurant. The owner, Mr. Giorgio, welcomed us in an exemplary and courteous manner. His words were, "Have you booked? I'm closed today, I'm preparing for a party that's being held tonight... but come along, I'll make you lunch, no problem." WHAT CAN I SAY? FANTASTIC... excellent food, beautiful and well-kept restaurant, and extremely attentive service. We'll be back 👌🤗

03/08/2025: This restaurant serving traditional Tornese cuisine is truly beautiful and well-kept, and is located in the historic city center. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The appetizers are also excellent. The prices are very reasonable. There are both indoor and outdoor tables. It's best to book in advance.

02/07/2025: Dinner in the center of Turin in a place with an outdoor courtyard without too much confusion and without spending too much. The menu also offers fish dishes and traditional Piedmontese dishes. I had chicken salad with vegetables, pork ribs with potatoes and sorbet, all averagely good. The service staff were very kind.

17/08/2025: The location is sublime. Nestled against the hillside, it offers a magical view. The ingredients used for the meal are impeccable, as is the wine offered. The waiters are incredibly kind. A place not to be missed. Expect to pay €50 per person for starter, main course, and dessert.
