Repetition helps. After last year's experience, my wife and I decided to repeat our visit to this splendid restaurant nestled in the Sibillini Mountains. Once again, Chef Enrico pampered us with his dishes and his attention to detail. Dishes with character and balance, a rich à la mousse of variety and flavor, excellent and elegant service without falling into the excessive aloofness typical of Michelin-starred restaurants. An experience we definitely recommend, and in our case, one we'll definitely repeat.

We had lunch with Chef Mazzaroni at his restaurant "Il Tiglio" in Montemonaço and were captivated by the wonders of the place and his rich, unique, special menu... delicate yet bold flavors and combinations, all meticulously crafted, from the welcome to the service, the dishes, and the expertise and friendliness of the chef, who stopped to chat with every table, exchanging a few words not only about the food... a unique experience, even in the explanation of the dishes paired with the wines... no problem for my wife's allergies to shellfish, even contact with them; in fact, she was pampered with every dish!
An experience you absolutely must try.

Truly legendary dinner, Valentina the waitress was great, friendly, and super kind! The gentleman (I don't remember his name) was also super good! The chef outdid himself with every dish!!!

I chose to try the Transumanza menu, where elements of the sea blend with the mountains, with particular attention to the use of 5/4, using raw materials sourced mostly from the chef's own farm. 5/4 plays a fundamental role in almost all the dishes on the menu, which are made "as elegant as possible," as the chef says. In fact, in my opinion, they are very enjoyable even for those who don't like these types of dishes in their traditional versions. My favorite dishes were: the brain poche, the pappardelle with duck tongue, the mezze maniche with aged pumpkin (added to the Ritorno menu), and the raspberry with wasabi. The service was excellent, and the price was appropriate for the experience. The chef's presence among the tables and the final chat (which he has with all the diners after the tasting) were much appreciated.

About the restaurant: This is truly the discovery of the year. In a remote village nestled in the mountains, it's a truly surprising experience. Highly creative cuisine with many local ingredients. Flavor explosions, the likes of which you rarely taste. The presentation is superb. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The price/quality ratio is incredible. We chose the accompanying wines, which proved to be a good choice. And the service was top-notch. Perfectly coordinated, quiet, yet with undivided attention. Special thanks to Luici.
