Welcoming restaurant, kind and professional owner and staff, very good and appetizing cuisine... you would eat everything but unfortunately you have to choose... a place to definitely return... to try the dishes that we were unable to taste.

Very beautiful place with great history, everything was excellent... top desserts, good selection of wines and spirits, always coming back!!!!!!

During our return trip, we were looking for an authentic place to taste local specialties and we were lucky to discover this enchanting village, characterized by a charming castle and a truly pleasant atmosphere. From the moment we entered, the owner greeted us with attentive and thoughtful service that made us feel pampered until the end of the experience. We decided to embark on a short gastronomic journey, sharing two appetizers, a tartare and a tripe whose aroma alone was enough to stun us. As a first course I opted for the Barolo risotto, and I must say that it was a truly superlative culinary experience. The owner showed great attention to our wishes, trying to satisfy us in every way possible. We have marked this place in our must-see list as it will surely become a regular stop on our future travels. The combination of lovely atmosphere, delicious food and impeccable service made this an unforgettable experience.

Cucina piemontese di alta qualità. Piatti ispirati alla tradizione ma senza essere banali, con variazioni che migliorano le portate. Ingredienti di primissima scelta, servizio ottimo. Il proprietario è molto cortese e disponibile, crea la Giusta atmosfera per un ottimo pranzo. Abbiamo preso come antipasti il paté di selvaggina con composte di fragole e arancia e pane all’uvetta e uno strudel di verza, cotechino e toma. Come primi ravioli di patate su crema all’acciughe e i pagnocchi con radicchio e salsa al gorgonzola. Per chiudere tortino freddo allo zabaione con cioccolato e zuppa all’amaretto. Tutte le portate ottime! Per chiudere una selezione di biscotti locali con il caffè!

Today we had lunch in Balocco at "L'Osteria" - Mr. welcomed us. Carlo and his son Luca immediately gave us the impression of being welcome. Once seated (the environment is very, very enveloping and warm), we were pampered both by Mr. Carlo and Luca without ever being intrusive... but present, teasing our throats with small delicacies in addition to the dishes ordered. All the courses gave our palate pleasant sensations... everything well prepared and presented with love and friendliness. WELL DONE!! When I left I felt like I had left friends behind. Congratulations for the love with which everything is done. THANK YOU!!!
