24/04/2026: The variety of ingredients and the preparation of each pizza is amazing. We especially loved the farinata, highly recommended as an appetizer or to accompany the pizza slices. They have a good selection of drinks and traditional desserts as well. Special mention and applause for the staff, especially Luisina, who warmly and professionally recommended the menu options to us. We will definitely be back.

05/04/2026: It's definitely the best sandwich shop in Rome! The flavors are so varied, both classic and creative, that you'll be spoiled for choice. They're beautifully filled, unlike many other places that only put the filling near the edges so the customer can see it. Top-quality ingredients, all at a good price and topped off with friendly service, always with a smile!

05/04/2026: I chose this restaurant, where I regularly return for Christmas and Easter lunch with my family, and I'm delighted with my choice. The stellar menu—my favorites include a delicate creamed cod dish at Christmas; tuna and chicory with a fragrant basil sauce at Easter; flavorful traditional agnolotti; gnocchi with white truffles and shrimp; taragna polenta with a lightly spiced stew; and fried lamb with a very light breading and a must-try lime mayonnaise at Easter. The service is attentive and courteous. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.

08/04/2026: On our way back from a weekend on the French Riviera, we stopped at this restaurant nestled in the Mondovì countryside, chosen at random for its proximity to the highway exit. We couldn't be happier with both the owner Silvia's warm welcome and the quality of her traditional dishes. I was particularly pleased with my choice of veal with tuna sauce, rabbit tuna, and pappardelle with wild boar, as well as the Piedmontese take on Sacher torte. A new favorite!

06/04/2026: The restaurant "Le due lanterne" is situated in the heart of Nizza Monferrato (at Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, were you can easily park your car). Since 2025 it has two new owners, a young and very committed couple with Andrea Cavallo as chef in the citchen and Valentina Torello as manager of service. We were there for the first time for lunch. Andreas and Valentina renovated the guestrooms totally new and they did a great job. They are very chic, warm, modern and lightful. You feel yourself there as a guest from the first moment very well and welcome. For sure Valentina and her service team are beside the ambience the main reason for feeling so well - they do all together a great job. They are very kind, professional and overlooking. It feels very good to be their guests. Andrea and his team in the kitchen cook simply fantastic. One of us had the Tasting Menue of four courses which was simply amazing. As starter we had a Tartare made of the meat of the local Fassone veal from Piemont, it was hand chopped, extremly fresh, perfectly seasoned and combined with Parmesan. Wow. Also the Pasta (Tajarin 40 Tuorli) with Ragu as Primo and the perfectly smooth braised veal as Secondo were outstanding. Very delicous was also the Green Asparagus with a perfectly soft-boiled egg and an amazing sauce - a special and wonderful vegetarian main dish. For dessert we had the famous local Bonet Monferrino, a fresh homemade Chocolate-Amaretto custard. Additional the restaurant offers many very good wines from the Piemont, everyone will find his or her special wine. All together "Le due lanterne" offers fantastic local food and wine from Piemont in a real excellent quality with a very warm and overlooking service. It's the perfect place for special culinary Italian moments. The prices are very fair for the offered highly quality. The recommandation of the Guide Michelin is in our opinion absolutely correct. We are looking very much forward to our next visit there. Grazie mille Andrea and Valentina - alla prossima!!

10/04/2026: Highly recommended. There's always a "surprise menu" that truly lives up to its name. The chef/owner is a master of her craft. Above all, she's an artist when it comes to using and processing natural flavors. The ambiance is perfect, and the service is very pleasant and professional.

18/04/2026: The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, and very clean. The owner and his wife are kind and accommodating, even with food intolerances. I'm celiac and had no trouble eating. I had a wide selection of appetizers and main courses, and for dessert, a delicious gelato sundae was improvised for me, much to my delight. I recommend it!

13/03/2026: I had the stew with polenta, which was a delight, and my son had the cacio e pepe pasta. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because the smell overpowered us, so we immediately rushed to eat.

Excellent selection of ingredients, excellent meats with unusual pairings, and a good selection of local wines by the glass.

27/02/2026: I spent a few days at Le Marmotte in Acceglio with a CAI group from Bergamo. I returned this evening and want to write about this wonderful experience right away: the welcome was warm from the moment we arrived, albeit a bit hectic. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located in the quiet of a pristine valley, and transportation to the starting point of our snowshoe hikes was provided by Sherpabus, with very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable local drivers. 01/05/2026: What can I say...it's like dining at home!! The menu doesn't feature any "local" dishes and, at first glance, seems extremely touristy. The surprise comes with dishes made with extremely high-quality products, with a special mention for the homemade pasta. The wine list is extensive and features excellent wineries, both local and international. The courteous and competent service is also top-notch. The location is located in the center of Asti, so you can barely see it from the outside...the interior is truly beautiful and refined. The prices are absolutely fair. In short, 5 stars for the whole experience!!! Congratulations!
