14/04/2026: In a beautifully renovated old farmhouse overlooking the main road, the restaurant is a refined, rustic setting, very pleasant. Beautiful table linens, everything beautifully set out. The service is good, precise and courteous, and as soon as you sit down, they bring a basket to the table with several varieties of excellent breads and breadsticks, as well as a few small tastings. I had a good veal with tuna sauce and tried three first courses: the risotto creamed in the shape of a "Piemontesino" is decidedly superior, the agnolotti are good, but the gnocchi are a no-brainer (too many ingredients that kill each other). The desserts are good, and the price is fair.

08/04/2026: I had the chance to try the pizza, kebab, and lahmacun, and they were all very good and delicious. I recommend them to everyone; you should definitely try them. It's a friendly, clean, and high-quality establishment.

05/04/2026: We stopped by chance without a reservation, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was extremely elegant and well-maintained; they even brought me a booster seat. The dishes were delicious, with attention to detail and high-quality ingredients (and you could taste it). They also offered us a free appetizer and a complimentary dessert with a glass of Passito wine. The waiter even explained the dishes to us. Definitely a highly recommended place, and it's beautiful, with a magnificent view of the fortress and the lake. We'll definitely be back.

04/04/2026: My wife and I went there for the first time tonight and had an excellent time. The wait staff was extraordinary, very friendly and helpful. They were there when we needed them but didn't hover. We started out with a complimentary glass of their prosecco. My wife and I ordered the onion soup and the perch. Both were very good. We also ordered a bottle of their Nebbiolo and it was excellent. We bought a couple of bottles to take home as well. The surroundings on the boat were very nice and the tables were spaced so we didn't feel crowded. All in all it was an excellent evening and we will definitely be back.

07/04/2026: I spent Easter Monday here in the Lanzo Valleys with friends. The place was very clean and the welcome was fantastic, making you feel at home. The food was delicious, carefully presented, and excellent value, all complemented by a relaxed atmosphere that made you feel at ease throughout the experience. Definitely worth a try!

Simple, authentic dishes, beautifully presented, reflect the excellent ingredients and the love owners Fabrizio and Claudia put into them. Excellent value. 10/04/2026: I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did enjoy the restaurant service. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. We started with an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, followed by their entree consisting of tongue in salsa verde, the classic Piedmontese veal with tuna sauce, and a Russian sauce all'ancienne, so called because it contained mustard seeds, like the French sauce of the same name: everything was truly excellent. To continue, we had the venison with polenta—soft, fragrant, and juicy—with a truly thick polenta, and a Tapulone (minced horse meat flavored with cabbage), also served with polenta. The large portions didn't allow us to try the desserts, which were otherwise very inviting. A genepy, a gentian, and a coffee rounded out a truly satisfying lunch, also thanks to the excellent table service, very proactive and never intrusive. While out for a stroll in the Ossola Valley for two, we spent €110 on a bottle of Barbera di Sizzano, truly refreshing and with just the right acidity to complement the hearty dishes we chose.

30/03/2026: Good value for money, the tartare with parmesan cheese is truly exceptional, and the first courses are excellent! The desserts are a shame; the cakes are a bit dry. Friendly service. Overall, highly recommended.
