01/06/2026: Four of us sought refuge from the scorching Venetian sun at the old, traditional La Nuova Grotta café. Amidst an antique atmosphere bearing the marks of time, we were able to enjoy a brief moment of leisure while sipping refreshing drinks. What impressed us most was the kind service provided by the Bangladeshi waiter, who also took great photos for us. Thanks to his bright smile, thoughtful consideration, and heartfelt hospitality, we were able to spend an even more comfortable and pleasant time. The warm kindness we encountered in an unfamiliar travel destination will remain in our memories for a long time, just as much as the beautiful scenery of Venice. Thanks to the precious time spent with good people and the kind waiter, this trip to Venice has become an even more enjoyable and happy memory.

Everything was perfect, the rooms were all large and super tidy, and the managers were super kind and helpful. We celebrated my sister's wedding and were so satisfied and happy with this big day... 20/05/2026: It is a bit unusual that the reception is on the second floor, but overall the service is excellent. It is very pleasant to be served a glass of Presecco as a welcome drink when you are seated. The food is also quite tasty. However, the diffuser scent inside is a bit strong.

06/04/2026: It could have been better… Of all the culinary experiences I've had in my life, I think this one ranks near the bottom of my list. To begin with, the first impression was ruined by the awful smell of fried food as soon as we walked in the door: to be clear, "fried" doesn't mean the smell of fish in a restaurant, but rather the stench of used oil, as if the dining room had been set up directly inside the kitchen! When we politely asked, "Good morning, is there room for three people?", the staff slumped and said, "I don't know...", as if we weren't welcome at all and the restaurant was full. In reality, only a couple's table was occupied, and to top it all, our greeting wasn't returned. Fortunately (or should I say unfortunately), despite countless minutes of silence, they managed to assign us a table, but when we saw the glasses, our eyes widened. Not only had they been poorly dried and therefore full of limescale, they were also completely dirty, almost as if they hadn't been washed. My friends and I even worried about being rude by asking for a change, but the situation was quite unhygienic: so, after asking for a change, they brought us new glasses, which weren't even much better than the others in terms of cleanliness, and what's more, they were wine glasses (when we only had still water to drink). We also had other basic requests, such as at least some cutlery or a pasta dish without pieces of foil inside... but we let it go; it wouldn't have been worth it, especially since the staff from the start was neither welcoming nor particularly helpful. On the other hand, there's nothing negative to say about the food: even if the quality wasn't the best, we managed to eat well. Another plus point of this restaurant is definitely the portions, which are directly proportionate to their price (which may initially seem a bit excessive). We struggled to finish two plates of pasta between three people. To be honest, I wouldn't go back...I just hope they can improve on these "little things" that would really make a difference!

Chef Francesco, with his presence at the tables to offer necessary advice and suggestions, stands out in a special way. The fully transparent cuisine makes the concept of transparency even more appreciated. The quality of the dishes and the art with which they are prepared reach a high level of gastronomic excellence, and the wine pairings suggested by the Sommelier are of the highest rigor and quality. 24/05/2026: Very nice seafood restaurant. Excellent and plentiful food. Fresh, well-prepared fish. Varied menu. Reasonable prices for the quality. Very good, fast, polite, friendly, and helpful service. Reservations are a must because it's always busy. You only find out why by eating there. The small platform with tables above an aquarium with fish swimming under your feet is beautiful.

18/05/2026: We stayed for just one night to participate in a cycling race. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even with extra requests tailored to our athletic needs. Excellent value for money.

03/05/2026: We had dinner at Essenza last night and were truly impressed. The flavors won us over: seemingly simple dishes, but prepared with great care and attention to detail, and above all, delicious. The wine pairings were excellent, and the value was truly excellent. 👍 It was the perfect way to end our vacation in Abruzzo. We also really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who were particularly attentive to our small children (they prepared a special dish for them). A wonderful experience that we highly recommend! ✨

05/05/2026: I had pasta, squid, and wine based on the reviews, and it was delicious. It was a restaurant with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The coin purse I bought from the leather shop right in front is very popular as a gift. It doesn't show up on Google Maps, so I'm leaving a review here.
