10/11/2025: I had lunch yesterday at Trattoria S. Martino - Le 3 Oche in Gargnano, and the experience was truly excellent. The traditional cuisine featuring lake fish is excellent, with refined dishes and great attention to detail. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and friendly. The location is very elegant, and the lake view makes the lunch even more special. We celebrated our anniversary, and the staff made the occasion even more enjoyable by bringing us candles to celebrate. A truly enjoyable lunch: highly recommended for those seeking good food, professionalism, and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere.

22/02/2026: We were truly thrilled. The food here is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and carefully crafted, authentic seafood. We trusted the wait staff with a selection of traditional dishes, and it was the perfect choice: gratinated and grilled shrimp, polenta with clam sauce, calamari in pea sauce, traditional minestrone soup, stewed cod with potatoes... all delicious and perfectly executed. The wine selection is also excellent, and the homemade desserts are truly top-notch. The staff is superb, attentive, and knowledgeable, and the vintage-style location is stunning and welcoming. 01/03/2026: A wonderful find on the Circonvallazione Histoniense! Despite its secluded location, the quality is top-notch: super-fresh second-hand fish, impeccable service, and excellent local wines. Very competitive prices. A true hidden gem where I'll definitely be returning!

06/04/2026: It could have been better… Of all the culinary experiences I've had in my life, I think this one ranks near the bottom of my list. To begin with, the first impression was ruined by the awful smell of fried food as soon as we walked in the door: to be clear, "fried" doesn't mean the smell of fish in a restaurant, but rather the stench of used oil, as if the dining room had been set up directly inside the kitchen! When we politely asked, "Good morning, is there room for three people?", the staff slumped and said, "I don't know...", as if we weren't welcome at all and the restaurant was full. In reality, only a couple's table was occupied, and to top it all, our greeting wasn't returned. Fortunately (or should I say unfortunately), despite countless minutes of silence, they managed to assign us a table, but when we saw the glasses, our eyes widened. Not only had they been poorly dried and therefore full of limescale, they were also completely dirty, almost as if they hadn't been washed. My friends and I even worried about being rude by asking for a change, but the situation was quite unhygienic: so, after asking for a change, they brought us new glasses, which weren't even much better than the others in terms of cleanliness, and what's more, they were wine glasses (when we only had still water to drink). We also had other basic requests, such as at least some cutlery or a pasta dish without pieces of foil inside... but we let it go; it wouldn't have been worth it, especially since the staff from the start was neither welcoming nor particularly helpful. On the other hand, there's nothing negative to say about the food: even if the quality wasn't the best, we managed to eat well. Another plus point of this restaurant is definitely the portions, which are directly proportionate to their price (which may initially seem a bit excessive). We struggled to finish two plates of pasta between three people. To be honest, I wouldn't go back...I just hope they can improve on these "little things" that would really make a difference!

10/03/2026: I used to go there in the '90s, and I came back with my family. The welcome is wonderful, the owner immediately puts you at ease. The dishes truly have a seafood flavor, and they have excellent recommendations. And a plus is that they welcome our four-legged friends.

09/03/2026: Beautiful and elegant, as soon as you enter, you can sense that hospitality is a cornerstone of the place, as I like to call it, Giorgiopensiero, accompanies the customer through everything that I would not call a banal lunch or dinner, but a well-rounded culinary experience. A pet-friendly place, where even our pets have their own space, well-spaced tables, a warm and elegant atmosphere, the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming and the dishes are simply fantastic, following the seasonality and every time, it is always like the first.... A refined cuisine, never banal or boring, rich in flavor, where the raw materials, truly high quality, are prepared with excellent care, applause to the guys who love their work, and all this comes across on the plate!! The best risotto I have ever tasted.... Highly recommended along with the stuffed pasta, the lightest and tastiest fried food..... In short, Giorgiopensiero has convinced me!!! My favorite little place ❤, where we always return, like family... See you soon guys!!! ❤️

08/04/2026: I had lunch at Capodiferro over Easter with a couple of friends, and the experience was truly positive. The restaurant is elegant and well-maintained, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for enjoying the moment without rushing. The location is one of its great strengths: a splendid view of Lake Nemi makes lunch even more evocative. The cuisine is unconventional, creative, and refined, with unique yet well-balanced dishes, all very tasty and meticulously presented. Overall, a pleasant lunch in every way, perfect for a special occasion or for treating yourself to something different. Highly recommended; I'll always be happy to return.

29/03/2026: Very fresh and well-cooked food. Interesting selections. Even the vegan options were very welcome, especially for dessert. My heartfelt compliments. The restaurant has a beautiful view of Lake Nemi, but unfortunately it was nighttime and we didn't fully appreciate it. The only thing that could be improved is the very aseptic decor, with shabby chic elements that I don't like and don't reflect the setting of the castles in which it is located.

30/11/2025: The prices are unbeatable, the food quality was excellent and the service and atmosphere were great. We had the house made pizzas and soup, topped up with the house wine. Everything was perfect, I would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. They also have a really nice view of the Palazzo Ducale, accross the water. We will definitely not forget it and will be returning. Thank you for having us!

19/11/2025: A lovely little restaurant away from the usual tourist crowds. The view, especially at sunset, is fantastic. It's certainly not a gourmet temple, but that's not the point; it's a nice little corner restaurant like you can find in any city. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

25/01/2026: Our first visit to this restaurant was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and the freshness of the fish. The service was prompt, the staff attentive, formal, and unobtrusive. The quality of the ingredients was remarkable and the craftsmanship was excellent. The price was average and fair for what we ate. Also, be careful about the gluten-free options. We'll be back and recommend.

19/12/2025: I return to this place every now and then, and it often surprises me, always in a positive way. The mixed cold appetizers are my favorite. A special treat: the sorbets made with fresh fruit, truly remarkable.

They know how to make you feel at ease and offer the best advice. Timeless flavors with top-quality ingredients. The casoncei, made according to grandma's recipe, deserve a special mention. 31/10/2025: Really lovely food and we accidentally ordered a cheese dish and told them to charge us since we thought it was pasta but they said it’s okay and didn’t charge us. But all of the food was amazing and definitely worth it. The staff was amazing and super sweet. They kept checking on the heating as well.
