Very tasty, a large portion, very friendly waiters. Regular prices for Venice. Was unfairly almost empty.

Carbonera was so good, it almost made me forget I was here with my rude children..: fortunately it was so good, they shut up for a bit too...jk, all was delish, so I will highly recommend!!

All around excellent. Air conditioning and comfortable seats. Calm and comfortable. Fantastic service, giving us complimentary limoncello. Above all, Amazing pasta and seafood! Not exaggerating, it was very high quality and generous on the amount of seafood and meat in each pasta dish. We got four flavors and all four were high quality. The seafood plate appetizer was high quality as well. The octopus for example was perfect in texture and flavor, something that is rare to find and hard to do.

I had the octopus salad, squid ink risotto, and vongole, and they were all delicious, but the squid ink risotto was absolutely, truly, truly amazing. It is on the more affordable side compared to other restaurants in Venice, and the waiter was so friendly that it made me feel great throughout the meal. I don't know when I will come back to Venice, but if I do, I will definitely visit this place again to eat the squid ink risotto again!

Trattoria Alla Scala

05/08/2026: I took my mom there for lunch, and she liked it. It's really close to Piazza San Marco, and I recommend it. Chinese people could try the squid ink pasta; I think it suits Chinese tastes very well.
04/08/2026: The staff were polite, the food was just the right amount of salty, and it was suitable for children too. Highly recommended! 👍
