19/07/2025: Disappointing – Mold Smell and Overpriced Food We found this sushi place based on glowing reviews and decided to give it a try. Arrived right after opening, we were the only guests and got a table for four. To use the bathroom, you have to go one floor down. The lower floor is nicely designed, clearly done with taste, but there’s a strong smell of mold as soon as you enter. It feels damp and unpleasant — really killed the vibe. We still stayed and ordered food, but it didn’t get any better. The €18 roll was almost all rice with barely any filling. My son ordered tempura shrimp — listed as €8.50 on the menu — but we were charged €22.50 on the bill. Later, another group arrived with a reservation. The staff initially said they had no record of it and tried to turn them away. Only after the guests started complaining and showing their confirmation were they seated. It all looked very unprofessional and poorly managed. Mold smell in a restaurant is a serious issue. This place should definitely be inspected by health authorities. Not recommended.

31/08/2025: The best food in Lake Como! We went to Varenna for the day and had lunch here. Excellent service from all the waiters, exquisite cuisine, delicious dishes, and gourmet decor. Quality service and food, with a very good wine and sparkling wine list. Desserts: an art!

29/08/2025: We had such a nice dinner here a couple of nights ago! The owner and his wife were so kind accommodating my husband and I for dinner (have a reservation in advance!). It was our favorite meal we had during our trip.

12/08/2025: This place has a nice atmosphere. It's delicious. There were a few dishes I hadn't tried before, and the pasta and salad were especially delicious. Looking around, it seemed like local Italians were coming for company dinners or gatherings. There weren't any Koreans, so reservations are definitely a must.

23/08/2025: We stopped for lunch by the sea, and it was worth it. Excellent, from the appetizers to the first courses, and finally a fried fish platter. Everything was delicious. Polite and attentive service. Prices are in line with those on the coast.

Indeed, it's a crescendo of quality, courtesy, and helpfulness. Excellent value for money, with truly excellent seafood dishes and extraordinary service, especially from Gelsomina and Dario, not to mention Stefania's excellent coffee. Raffaele and Antonino complete the picture with their beach service. In a word: TOP

14/08/2025: Best restaurant in Domodossola. We visited twice, enjoying the 6-course menu once and the à la carte menu once. The fish dishes are extremely good and perfectly balanced. The service is very attentive and friendly. Plus, you have a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. My only minor criticism: I had a rack of lamb, which was unfortunately cooked thoroughly and not medium. For dessert, I had the "Chocolate Trilogy." I found the chocolate mousse too dense. Furthermore, the layering of dark, light, and white chocolate wasn't well thought out. I would have preferred the exact opposite, starting with white chocolate and then working toward the more bitter flavors at the end. But these minor criticisms don't justify a point deduction, so they still deserve full marks. And a tip for other guests: Stick to the chef's core competency, which is clearly fish!

03/08/2025: Me and my girlfriend arrived late evening on a Sunday and found this pearl! They stayed open when we arrived, the last dinner guest had already left. Best food so far on our trip in Italy. The balsamico meat was amazing and so tender! Also amazing service!!! Our waiter was so kind and made the whole experience a 10/10. 11/08/2025: A restaurant right in the city center with just a few tables, but truly excellent service and high-quality seafood. The only drawback is the soundproofing, which makes it difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice.

Chef Angelino has a rare talent: his dishes are balanced, creative, and always impeccable in both flavor and presentation. The maître d', who welcomes you with kindness and a genuine smile, is attentive and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail, and a style that combines refinement and Sicilian soul. One of the best restaurants I've tried in Sicily. Highly recommended. Lorenzo

22/07/2025: A place not to be missed! Magnificent decor in a superb stone-vaulted room. The dishes are delicious and the service impeccable. We received a very warm welcome, even with four children! Wide selection of wines, excellent grappa, and probably the best vongole I've ever tasted. The tiramisu was also excellent, as were the seafood appetizers. A truly delightful experience!

27/07/2025: Claudio and his lovely wife are excellent, the fish is top-notch. Their friendliness is certainly not comparable to that of some starred restaurants with a snobbish attitude (which would be better off losing). It's over!!! I rarely write reviews, but they truly deserve it!

26/07/2025: A small but well-organized and well-stocked restaurant. We went for dinner and I have to say we enjoyed everything except the seafood carbonara. I would have preferred the portions to be a little smaller. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The only downside was that we unfortunately had to wait quite a while for the last meal. I don't know what the problem was, but they apologized. Overall, a great place, even for a romantic dinner.
