Excellent restaurant by the canal, just a 5-minute walk from our hotel. The waiters were attentive and welcoming. The spaghetti carbonara was delicious.

Bit on the expensive side, yet better priced than most around. Keep in mind is Venice city center. That said, I recommend a prosciutto & burrata as antipasto + Basura with scampi and shrimp & carbonara as primo for a much better than average lunch.

First night in Venice and this place delivered. Had some Caccio e Pepe and a pizza to share and everything was really good. We came at around 8pm and we didn’t even have to wait for a table next to the canal. Really well priced and would come again on our next visit.

A big difference for this place for me was a great service provided by waiter Abi. Not every staff pay attention to the details and it was so nice that he did his best for me to feel welcomed and comfortable. As a single traveler it was so appreciated and important. Thank you for delicious food.

The lobster pasta was excellent, and the lasagna was very good. The waiters were very friendly. Good value for money in Venice. I would return. The terrace is right next to the canal.

04/05/2026: The ice cream was very good and the lady was extremely kind; she looked after our one-and-a-half-year-old baby for a few moments.
15/04/2026: La Mela Verde is tucked away on a quiet street in Venice, and it definitely deserves your attention. The gelato is soft, smooth, and honestly the best I had while in Venice. The pistachio flavor tastes like real pistachio, not artificial at all, and you absolutely have to try it. I also loved the chocolate scoop. Highly recommend!

13/05/2026: Ristorante da Buso is number 1!! Quality, attention, and care—I don't think you could ask for more... our returns to Caorle are mainly for them.
02/05/2026: We were there yesterday, May 1st. I booked after seeing the reviews here. The atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing; despite the crowd, there was no sense of stress from the service. Excellent food. Everything we ate was excellent. The service was top-notch. The staff was super efficient, very kind and helpful, even with my furry friend. My heartfelt congratulations. Thank you for your hospitality. We'll be back.
