A beautiful experience regarding the food, a little less regarding the customer/restaurateur relationship of trust.
I was offered a first course with fresh fish, I was told that a redfish (large, 1 kg by eye) would be enough which they showed us to make 5 first courses (2 adults and 3 children), I accepted thinking of paying a maximum of 20/22 euros, taking into account the price per kg, for each dish and instead they arrived together with the first TWO filleted scorpion fish (one large, one smaller) for a total cost of 140 euros for the first courses alone. It didn't seem right to me.

Excellent restaurant, highly recommended.
Farmhouse restaurant 3 minutes drive from the center of Otranto.
It offers a menu mainly based on fish with catch of the day, starters, first and second courses of quality, quantity and at more than honest costs.
Lots of attention to the customer and excellent service.

Prodotti di qualita' ed ambiente raffinato. Uno dei pochi locali in zona che non ha mai deluso le aspettative anzi mi ha sempre riservato sorprese. Il Sig. Paolo ottimo padrone di casa che sa intrattenere l'ospite con attenzioni e garbo. Tutto lo staff da elogiare. Contesto esclusivo nella natura salentina. Prezzo adeguato alla qualita.

Ristorante Il Diavolicchio Goloso Review
This is an excellent dining experience in several dimensions. The setting appears to be a small farm. Your way into the property is through a gate and along a long, walled drive. The decor and service are excellent. A server wheels a cart to your table to show the seafood available that evening. The food is very good to excellent. Our selections follow. I ate ombrina at three dinners in Puglia, and this was the best of them (and ombrina is, for me, an excellent fish). We would go out of our way to eat here again.
TIP you can walk here from Livantea Agri Resort & Residence, an excellent lodging
