I loved it all, from food to people, I really got the feeling that we are the most important guests on the world. Who wants something diferent than basic pizza or pasta, shoul go there. In one word, perfect!

We went to La Scarpetta last night because we were staying in a nearby hotel. How lucky we were to have decided not to eat in the center of Milan and instead took refuge in your restaurant! From the outside, the atmosphere is very composed and elegant, but once inside, it becomes welcoming and familiar without ever losing its sophistication. Minimalist and clean, we were welcomed and served with a kindness and friendliness that isn't always guaranteed but that was widely recognized and appreciated. The food is delicious; the meatballs and sauce were exquisite, and the pasta dishes were phenomenal. Not to mention the wonderful selection of dishes and the music, which enchanted us and demonstrates the owner's care and taste. It's definitely worth taking the metro a few extra stops and getting off at Gambara to experience this wonderful place. We wish you the best, and when we return to Milan, you'll definitely have us as your guests again! Roberta and Stephen :)

Came with a group of 5 and had a wonderful experience. Great place with a homey feel, we were able to interact with the chef and everyone was very friendly. Although we don’t speak Italian, we were able to communicate with no problems. We enjoyed our time so much, I forgot my bag at the end of the night. They kindly held it for me for a few days and worked with me and my schedule so that I could get it back. I would recommend stopping in if you find yourself in the area!

I went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday, which I've been wanting to try for a while. It was a truly enjoyable meal, from the welcome, to the food, and especially the quality of the ingredients. The risotto with red shrimp bisque, porcini mushrooms, and red shrimp tartare were both superb, as was the seafood carbonara. I'll definitely be back.
