We stumbled upon this little gem completely by chance, and it was a wonderful experience. I'd like to start with the impeccable service. All three waiters were delightful, professional, and incredibly warm. They brought us water for the dog before we even asked for it. The smoked salmon appetizer was superb, the gnocchi were delicious... But, ladies and gentlemen, the linguine with Castelmagno cheese stole the show!
The only flaw was the tiramisu in the bowl, which didn't seem fresh, but it was still a great experience.

Carefully crafted dishes, excellent ingredients, and unique pairings. The mussel appetizer, for example, isn't your average marinara or peppered mussels: the ginger, lime, honey, and soy sauce sauce creates a truly interesting pairing. The linguine with scallops, bottarga, and lemon is fabulous. Seafood and meat menu. Quick and attentive service. Excellent selection.

Nestled in the villages of Loano's historic district, beneath arches and atmospheric lights, Gein cuisine delights every taste bud. Umami, salty, sweet, and crunchy, dish after dish melts in your mouth, leaving you with the bittersweet knowledge that sooner or later those dishes will be gone. The staff is delightful, and the prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality. We couldn't have celebrated my love's 35th birthday in a better way...

We ate divinely. Everything was meticulously prepared and the ingredients were top-quality. The culinary offerings were sophisticated and the fusion pairings excellent. The wine list was excellent. The service was quick (just right). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
