01/03/2026: I happened upon this restaurant by chance on a quiet Friday in late February. I chose it among the many in the area because I was intrigued (and almost convinced) by the reviews. I was particularly won over by the positive comments from those who, even though they're not vegan, praised the quality of the dishes and desserts. So I decided to give it a try (also because the photos were mouth-watering), and, what can I say, it was a fantastic experience! I spent the entire time praising the dishes, from the presentation to the flavor, from the texture to the success. And the desserts? What can I say, they were amazing! I tried a cheesecake, which was fantastic. If they hadn't told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed it. It's just a shame I live two hours away from this restaurant; otherwise, it would become a regular stop, at least once a month. In any case, it'll be a great excuse to take more vacation trips there, so I can return to try the dishes, and desserts, I missed. Highly recommended!

04/02/2026: Very good vegan restaurant. My better half and I went and tried several different dishes and everything was excellent. All praise. And to top it off, it was all relatively cheap.

13/03/2026: we came in spring and i can imagine how busy this village can be in the summer! walking around in this calm season was delicious, then we came upon Dante - a sunny terrace, great wine, food and service. we were the only tourist there for lunch ( which is always a good sign 😌 ). we highly recommend

At Ristorante Il Purgatorio, you'll find excellent local products, authentic cuisine, and a truly interesting selection of niche wines. 14/02/2026: When we went to the place where we were told to sit, we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant next to another Asian person. And there were 3 of us, but they told us to sit at a table for 2 with chairs pushed together. The food portions were generous and they took our orders fairly quickly.

07/03/2026: Ristorante Giovanni is one of those places in Turin that you never forget. You go there for good food, of course, but you return for something more: genuine care, attention to the raw ingredients, and cuisine that has personality without sacrificing restraint. The fried foods are simply extraordinary: light, perfect, never heavy. Mushrooms, artichokes, asparagus: in every season, they find a way to make themselves memorable. For me, they truly are the best. The service is always impeccable, discreet, never intrusive. And the atmosphere has a rare quality: it's quiet, discreet, and welcoming. Not noisy, not garish. A place where you eat well and still enjoy conversation, almost feeling at home. For me, it's become a favorite restaurant. And anyone passing through Turin should try it at least once. Then, they'll easily return.

16/03/2026: Best food we had on our trip to Naples. Amazing pizza and tiramisu. We will definitely be back and recommend to everyone to try. Staff were all very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

It's become one of our go-to restaurants: we already know that something special awaits us, an experience that goes far beyond a simple dinner. A true journey of flavors. The food is meticulously crafted and of the highest quality, with creative yet always balanced and delicious dishes. You can clearly taste the hand of a brilliant chef, who pours talent and passion into every dish. The waiter is always a guarantee: kind, friendly, highly knowledgeable, and even super nice. He knows how to best advise you and makes you feel immediately at ease. A place that never disappoints. We'll definitely be back!

18/02/2026: A very beautiful and welcoming place. The service and the quality of the products were the two things that particularly impressed and delighted us. We had the opportunity to speak with the staff, who were very kind and helpful, even explaining the dishes, which are unlike any other cuisine you'd find elsewhere. I'd like to focus on the dishes themselves: beautifully blended flavors with authentic ingredients. Definitely recommended, and we'll be back.

30/10/2025: Delicious food, I personally really recommend tagliatelle and risottos with sea food. Theirs desserts are also very tasty. Really kind stuff, nice environment.

It felt like we were eating at someone's home – warm, authentic, and simply comfortable. A place we'd happily recommend and certainly won't be the last time we visit!

09/01/2026: We arrived somewhat by chance, unfamiliar with the place. We were surprised by the beautiful atmosphere. The staff is welcoming, kind, and professional. The food is truly excellent in every way; beauty and flavor go hand in hand, all accompanied by a small initial gift: a delicious savory cream puff, and superb focaccia and breadsticks! The dessert samples at the end are also truly excellent! And you won't leave hungry; that's also important. A wonderful experience!

04/01/2026: This very chic little restaurant was recommended to us, aesthetically unique and refined. We had a wonderful dinner: the raw fish appetizer was presented with the care and passion of a chef who knows what he's doing. The off-menu first course was FABULOUS, with truly thoughtful aromas and combinations. Then I said to myself, "Now a dessert would be perfect, but I'm having a hard time surprising myself after this crescendo of flavors and aromas..." Even though I was full, I decided to break the rules. The result? A SENSATIONAL dessert! For the service and hospitality, I'd say we're 6 stars! Well done, well done, well done! You deserve so many more satisfied customers like us! We'll definitely be back.
