25/10/2025: Perfect diner in a pleasant neighborhood, just outside the center. Creative cooking, Mediterranean but not exclusively Italian. We shared lovely filled zucchini flowers, after I had perfectly cooked vegetables with couscous and then tasty, soft tartare. And I shared on of the best creamy deserts. My wife had a similar experience with a perfect ravioli and cod. Good wine list by the glas. Cooking is not salty, perfectly awakened the day after.

20/10/2025: We loved it!!! We were passing through the beautiful town on our way to Cannigione, and we thought the town was beautiful. Finding this restaurant thanks to the good Google reviews was a sure success. They served us wonderfully and the food was delicious. We ordered three different types of pasta and the typical Sardinian dessert, and everything was delicious! We recommend it 100%.

10/10/2025: A wonderful little restaurant with excellent food and attentive service. And the price/performance ratio is also reasonable. You can tell the entire concept is perfect – the ambiance, quality, and service are top-notch. Highly recommended. Reservations are recommended, though!

17/11/2025: A true gem of a place I celebrated my fiances milestone birthday here last week. We loved the interiors and intimate set up. The staff are very attentive and hospitable. The food is of great quality and they have an excellent wine selection. Highly highly recommended this place.

21/11/2025: The rooms are old, and the showers are not particularly pleasant, but considering the significance of staying in a historical building and having breakfast and dinner, the all-inclusive package was a good choice. Due to the schedule, I was only able to have dinner one day, but if possible, I would have liked to have dinner twice. The incredibly delicious breakfast is something to be had, and dinner goes without saying. Cannavacciolo was also very nice, and I became an even bigger fan.

19/11/2025: I came especially from England, where I've lived for over 12 years, to celebrate my birthday with my partner at Villa Crespi restaurant, and I can say it was an experience I'll cherish forever. We chose the "Nel Nome del Gusto" tasting menu with wine pairing, and from the first course, it was an extraordinary sensory journey: an explosion of colors, aromas, and flavors that captivated me. Some dishes even transported me back in time, to my beloved grandmother's kitchen—a sweet and intense memory that only high-quality cuisine, crafted with love, can provide. I'm not a food critic or a food influencer; I love cooking, but above all, I love eating well. And I can say with absolute certainty that the quality and freshness of the ingredients were more than evident. Every dish told a story, every bite exuded passion. The location is simply enchanting: the majestic Moorish-style villa overlooking Lake Orta seems like something out of a dream. Every architectural detail, from the Moorish arches to the decorated ceilings, contributes to creating a timeless atmosphere, where elegance and warmth coexist in perfect harmony. The rooms are intimate and refined, meticulously designed, and the garden surrounding the villa conveys a sense of tranquility and absolute beauty. It's a place that speaks to the soul even before the palate. The service was impeccable: the entire staff stood out for their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. I felt pampered, welcomed as if by a large family, but with the elegance and discretion that only a special place can offer. Unbeknownst to me, my partner had mentioned in the reservation that it was my birthday and that I'm a big fan of Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo. When they brought me a cake with a candle before dessert, I couldn't help but be moved. A simple yet meaningful gesture, which encapsulates the soul of Villa Crespi: attention, care, and love for the customer. The evening concluded with an unexpected and unforgettable encounter: I had the honor of meeting the Chef. I confess that the emotion was so strong it left me speechless—a true culinary Stendhal syndrome! I couldn't thank him as much as I would have liked, so I hope these words reach him and his wonderful team: thank you for making this experience a dream. Villa Crespi is like a perfect orchestra: each person plays their instrument with passion, and under the direction of a great Maestro, together they create a harmony that envelops and uplifts you. I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat anywhere else with the same wonder.

04/11/2025: Travelling Italy for our honeymoon. Came here for dinner as it was close to our Airbnb and from the get go, the experience was amazing! The server Andrea gave us suggestions that we appreciated. We initially ordered the prosciutto and melon, and he advised that the melon wasn’t in season so we got the prosciutto and Buffalo mozzarella with toasted bread instead. We ordered the ribeye with green peppercorn and potato, as well as the macaroni pasta with truffle and sausage. Prosecco for drinks and semifreddo for dessert. Loved the vibes and Italian music, staff are so friendly and warm. Memorable experience 🫶🏻

07/11/2025: Incredible The two-faced outdoor setting: you arrive in a secluded spot, welcomed by a pleasant parking lot, and you find yourself in a sort of farmhouse. Then, you enter the restaurant and discover a refined and elegant atmosphere. The food is top-notch, the wine cellar excellent, the service impeccable. Congratulations

02/11/2025: Service! Service was invented here! The room perfectly matches the location—not overly luxurious, but everything is there and impeccably maintained. The location? The location is truly breathtaking. For lovers of fine wines, refined breakfasts, culinary dinners, and a pool with a view: this is a place to return to. I can't wait to go back. "Two photos don't say enough... it's even more beautiful in person. Judge for yourself!"

30/10/2025: Staff: Staff were lovely and very attentive. Room: Spacious, comfortable, nice amenities. There was a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch. Restaurant: Breakfast was great, lots of choice and it's all high quality. The wasps swarming the breakfast area was the only negative but that can't really be helped. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, just to try it out. I had the worst steak I've ever had here, truly terrible. Prices are insanely high too Bar: We avoided the bar entirely due to the ridiculous prices. We went to the wine tasting one evening because we thought it would be something special to do in the hotel, it cost €50 per person which is crazy given the cost in other local wineries. Location: you will need a car to get everywhere, it's very remote. All in all, I was happy enough with the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. I wouldn't return because it's very limiting being so remote, especially when the hotel is charging 3-4x the prices of anywhere else for food/drinks.
