22/04/2025: An excellent dinner, a very elegant venue, we returned after two years, it was confirmed as we remembered it.

22/04/2025: Since it was a little cooler when we visited Sal8, we sat inside on the 1st floor. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait for a table with several other couples. We got a free Prosecco (1 small sip), but had to drink it standing between other tables because it was so tight in the restaurant. In general, the atmosphere is rather cramped and the service seemed very rushed throughout. It would have been nicer to sit on the ground floor, but it was empty. The food was good but not exceptional.

19/03/2025: You can only appreciate places like this. The food is of remarkable quality, in all courses the standard remained very high. There were many of us and "noisy" but both the waiters and the owner were kind and welcoming.

15/04/2025: It was a very pleasant wine bar with local tapas. Delicious ! Host gave us a board on the house. This is definitely recommended for a nice glass of wine and snacks and delicious local lemonade for the children.

17/04/2025: Complete experience, stay at Villa Crespi for one night and dinner at the restaurant. Everything was taken care of right from the booking stage with easy communication even by email. Since our arrival, every detail has been taken care of with attention and warmth. The staff is incredibly prepared, present without ever being intrusive, capable of making you feel special without forcing. The service in the room is orchestrated with precision, real smiles, perfect timing, punctual but never pedantic explanations from highly trained guys. Each course is told without mincing words because it is the dish that speaks and the ingredients that have an "enormous" flavor even if in fact they are dishes with traditional ingredients. The stylish room is very welcoming, considering that you are in a 19th century building so no overly technological ambitions. We also made use of the SPA with a full body massage which is worth experiencing. The buffet breakfast offers very high quality choices starting from exceptional pastries and savory choices of the highest level, it does not make you regret the quality of the restaurant experienced the previous evening. A true and full experience that I will always carry with me.

The quality of the dishes is excellent: you can perceive the great attention paid to the choice of raw materials and, above all, the ability to make the most of them with careful preparations and authentic flavours. 29/04/2025: We went to this restaurant managed by a couple, husband and wife: she in the kitchen and he in the dining room and at the reception. We are really satisfied with the quality of the food, the value for money and the atmosphere of the place. We recommend booking for the risk of not being postponed to the next one because it's worth it. The owner kindly shows their menu and the daily proposals, explaining the typical dishes or their best ones so you have a clear idea of ​​what you are going to order. The capun magro, the carabaccia risotto and the tuna deserve special mention, as they were truly special, prepared with fresh ingredients and studied combinations. You will spend pleasant hours here, feeling at home. Don't miss the experience if you pass through these parts.

27/04/2025: Superb evening! Very warm welcome, boss speaks impeccable French, explains the dishes very well. Delicious original cuisine and great value for money. I highly recommend. Remember to book +++ 2 beers, 1 bottle of wine, a starter to share, 2 main courses and 1 dessert.

06/04/2025: Locale molto accogliente, il personale è preparato e delicato nei modi, cibo curato nei particolari, piatti eccellenti sia al palato che alla vista. Da notare un particolare mai visto da nessuna parte i condizionatori sono dotati di un’aletta per evitare che il getto vada direttamente sull’ospite, carrello dei dolci e dei formaggi spettacolari.

The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

The best Italian food I've ever eaten - I was scared by the lack of a menu, but I trusted the owners and I don't regret it (my 14-month-old son and wife were equally happy).
