I've known Emilio and Rita for years, following them ever since their days on Via Emilia Ovest, then on Ponte Alto in Via di Passaggio, and now here. 22/04/2026: We booked this restaurant based on the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The very kind chef offered us a truly excellent all-fish menu. He prepared hot and cold appetizers, followed by calamarata, and for the shared main course, a truly delicious sea bass with artichokes. The fried sweets filled with sheep's milk ricotta were delicious, as per Sardinian tradition. The house white wine from a local producer was excellent. The bill was €55 per person.

18/04/2026: From the moment that we came through the door to the very last sip of lemoncello, this was an incredible meal and a beautiful and memorable dining experience! The owners are incredible hosts and the food is spectacular. The fact that they change their menu every day makes it a little bit unpredictable but sit down, order, and enjoy! You won’t regret it.

15/04/2026: A local bar owner recomeneded Il Punto Cardinale as his go to spot. We were not disappointed. So much so that we had to pay a second visit. Lovley clean restaurant with comfortable space between tables.The lady runnig the front of house takes time to discuss the menu options. The result tasty well presentented food. Good mix of locals and tourists which is a good sign.

16/04/2026: There are places in Rome that are advertised as the best, but in reality they often turn out to be tourist traps. This place was recommended to us by our B&B, and we went to see from the outside if it was actually what they promised. We can say we really enjoyed it. The place is very original, tastefully decorated, with appropriately spaced tables, and above all, good Roman food. The service is discreet but still friendly. A truly Roman touch was the pianist who played various classical pieces throughout the dinner. Very good.

06/05/2026: A wonderful experience in a refined setting. My wife and I had lunch there a few days ago. The food was very good and carefully prepared. The kindness and friendliness were abundant and natural, a rarity. If we return to Monreale, we'll definitely visit you again.

02/05/2026: We went to Taverna del Pavone and had a truly wonderful time. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was satisfying from start to finish. We tried a seafood pasta dish and a pasta alla Norma, both excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The appetizers were also very good, as were the desserts. In particular, the cassata was very fresh, delicate, and truly delightful; the chocolate dessert was also delicious. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with carefully prepared dishes and excellent service. Our only small suggestion is to slightly expand the gin selection on the menu and, perhaps, serve the tonic water separately, so each customer can adjust it to their own taste. Otherwise, absolutely recommended!

06/05/2026: We spent a delightful May Day at your restaurant. We found warmth, kindness, professionalism, and above all, quality. The Virtues were the virtues. Delicious, perfect. The turkey Canzanese-style was very special on the palate; it was our first time trying it, and we really enjoyed it. The cake at the end of the meal was also delicious. We will gladly return!

The warm welcome from the owner and waiter paved the way for an excellent dinner, highlighted by the chef's professionalism. 16/04/2026: A must-visit for every Sorrento visitor. Located a bit off the beaten track right on the coastal road, it's 100% worth the trip. Stunning views of the sea and the sunset over Capri. The food was delicious and worth every penny. We'd give it 6 stars :-)

01/05/2026: I'm so sorry we discovered this place at the very end of our trip! The first thing that caught my eye was the adorable golden retriever lying in front of the place. The menu is handwritten on a piece of paper. The atmosphere is wonderful. We only came for dessert, and I'm really sad we won't get to try these delicacies. The tracksuits were fantastic!!! The wine too. I highly recommend it!
