I tried it by chance after reading the reviews, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. From the outside, it's not particularly impressive, but inside, it's a quaint, well-decorated space. The service is quick and everyone is very friendly, and the food is delicious, all homemade. I enjoyed the gnocchi with ragù, the tagliolini with fava beans and guanciale, the gratinated vegetables, and the flatbreads. Generous portions. Highly recommended!

A must-try! If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy excellent dishes with a genuinely home-made flavor. Along with delightful service. Just like Sundays at your aunts'...the good ones, though! Trust me. You won't be disappointed. And if my kids say so too...

15/04/2026: There are only three reasons why this restaurant might not earn five stars. If you don't know fresh fish and can't distinguish it. If you don't recognize professional, meticulous table service, provided by those who have lived in the dining room. If you don't have a sensitivity for an environment that seems painted by Cézanne. For those who know how to see and feel, this place is a masterful synthesis. Extraordinary cuisine. Absolutely top-notch service. An environment that speaks for itself. I would never recommend a different or better place, because it's not a simple coincidence that you're never, ever disappointed: it's an exception to the rule.
14/03/2026: Simple and classic cuisine, but truly well-prepared. Excellent selection of ingredients, as is the wine list. Impeccable service, always attentive and never intrusive. It was my first time at Lanterna, but it certainly won't be my last.

02/05/2026: The service was truly impeccable. The waitress who served us was not only very attentive, but also very friendly and made our experience wonderful. After a 3-hour drive from Bologna due to traffic, being greeted with a warm smile and a laugh made the long journey worth it. We'll definitely be back. 😀
