13/04/2026: Easter at Tenuta di Sipio has become a pleasant tradition for my family, and this year too, it proved to be an experience that lived up to expectations—if not exceeded. This is the fourth consecutive year we've chosen this place, and each time we're amazed by the quality. The lunch was TOP!: carefully prepared, decidedly gourmet dishes and top-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Great credit also goes to the wine selection, unique and top-notch, perfectly paired with the dishes. A special mention goes to Nino, always extremely helpful, kind, and professional. His attention to everyone's needs—from intolerances (like lactose-free) to children's needs—truly makes a difference and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you!

15/03/2026: We met the guys from Maltagliati at a dinner and, intrigued, came to try their restaurant. You arrive in Torano, a small hilltop village, and the restaurant is in the center: welcoming and well-kept, with an open kitchen with a grill where they prepare almost the entire menu. If you have the chance to see them at work in the dining room in front of the grill, they are serious and professional, but above all, well-prepared. Cuisine like this comes from study and dedication: we ordered the tasting menu and it's hard to find a better dish... the crescia, the spit-roasted heart, the sweetbreads, the quail and lamb, and many other dishes. The staff in the dining room are attentive and loving. We had a great time and can't wait to come back because having the courage to cook like this is uncommon. Excellent!

Excellent food, with a focus on local ingredients but also innovation, delicate and refined flavors, and excellent, attentive, and friendly service. Excellent, one of my best Easter lunches. N.B.: The dulcis venia was a small masterpiece of taste and beauty!

04/04/2026: I discovered Lu Pennese almost by chance thanks to a post I saw on Facebook, and I couldn't have made a better choice. I love simple, authentic places, without too many frills, and here I found exactly what I was looking for: the wonderful atmosphere of a real village bar where time seems to have stood still. It's a genuine and genuine place, where you don't need an endless menu to make you happy. I loved their simple yet high-quality menu: they serve exceptional porchetta, excellent both in a sandwich and eaten plain, along with platters of salami and local pecorino cheese, and the classic bread and oil, which in its simplicity is unbeatable. If you go on a Sunday, you can also try their arrosticini, which are out of this world. If you're looking for a sincere, welcoming place with authentic flavors, Lu Pennese is an absolute must. A Peroni to wash down the grease, and you'll feel comfortable and satisfied. I'll definitely be back!

The portions are adequate and satisfying. A few small details could be improved, especially the timing of service between courses, which at times seemed slightly delayed. The dishes were generous, served with extreme kindness by Ms. Giovanna, who expertly recommended a wide selection of dishes from the menu, which turned out to be excellent. We enjoyed a peaceful meal to remember. As was our case, we will be sure to recommend it to friends who are passing along the A25 (AIELLI-CELANO exit) just 5 or 6 km away, who will also have an experience they will never forget.
