02/05/2026: I was a guest at this restaurant, which I didn't know, and I hope to return as soon as possible. A joyful and bright birthday party. The waiters were attentive and kind. The food was very good, with plenty of second helpings. The table was round, and the music wasn't loud. The children were able to play outside freely and safely...what more could you ask for? Recommended? I'd definitely say yes.

08/04/2026: Lunch at the Bear's Den with friends, a significant embarrassment considering I had chosen the restaurant. The dishes were nothing to write home about, cooked with care (considering the rather high prices, of course). The service was absolutely embarrassing, ordering dishes after about a 40-minute wait. The appetizers arrived on time, the first courses were each served at different times, forcing the diners (there were four of us) to eat alone. Even the last first course was served with a considerable delay, already at this point the irritation was sky-high. For dessert, we waited 50 minutes in vain for a waiter to come and take our order, then, exhausted by the long wait, we gave up. We also waited to pay the bill, standing at the cash register, and it should be noted that the restaurant was not crowded!!!!! TO BE FAIR, GIVEN THE PROTESTS, WE FOUND A 40 EURO DISCOUNT ON OUR BILL, WHICH IS STILL HIGH FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDED. IN ANY CASE, A WORTHY THANK YOU FOR THE DISCOUNT.

02/05/2026: Horrible!! Me and my friend wanted to have nice dinner but went away with horrible vibe! We where just looking how much money we counted with cash, there went like a guy, and he just took the money of out of my hand!! What was that? And he told me: it’s mine. And then just threw it on face of my friend! Omg! And then we wanted to eat but went away full not eaten! And the guy who was giving us money, he was coming and taking like: Let’s make video? TikTok? Instagram? And he wanted to make video? Sorry I don’t want to be in video!!!! This is not normal he was like addicted to us! Went to us, talk to us, crazy! The food?? I went to restaurant to eat some luxury food, but when I order Ramen, on the picture is other, and the reality? It’s just like boiled buldak! Full with oil! And the meat? It was not even cooked! It was pink! And the desert with strawberry’s, there was image of fresh and nice strawberry’s, and we got old strawberry’s , expired cream, and fish? FULLY MOLDY!!!! And the egg? It wasn’t even cooked! And they should serve the food what is in the image !!! Disappointed! I went there also one time with mom! Horrible service! Can’t be worse! We just almost vomited from this! Ew!

07/04/2026: Silvia's courtesy and skill in the kitchen, Andrea's promptness and kindness in the dining room, and the quiet, understated, West Coast-esque atmosphere pleasantly surprised us, so much so that we've made this bistro our go-to in Varese. With different menus for breakfast, brunch, or a business lunch, it's sure to satisfy the gastronomic curiosity of the many regulars and occasional diners at this charming establishment next to the courthouse.

03/04/2026: Brunch at Less was nothing short of a wonderful experience: not only were the location and the food extraordinary, but the welcome was something rarely found in Varese. We can't wait to return!

12/05/2026: Linguine with tuna, shrimp, zucchini, and fresh cherry tomatoes; a pair of baked seafood with thyme and citrus; rosemary potatoes; bread, mineral water, a quarter of wine, and coffee. Lunch is €18. Dessert is also €5. Dinner is €25. Various options, as well as off-menu dishes. The cuisine seems international (I think). The staff is attentive and friendly, with a pleasant hint of oriental sweetness. The setting is remarkably charming, both inside and in the surrounding park. Splendid views of Campo dei Fiori and Sacromonte. In such a setting, the prices are surprising. Those willing to spend significantly more will find satisfaction nearby.

26/11/2025: Well-maintained place, delicious carbonara pizza, friendly and welcoming staff. I give it a 100 rating. The pizzas are delicious and the kebabs are always top-notch.

12/04/2026: Turn it down. We went to this place after a theater show. It was one of the best places we've been to after our theater shows, which, inevitably, always end late in the evening. The staff was very polite and kind. The girl with the bob haircut? Elly? The blonde who served us was very kind. She was available to explain the dishes and assist us during dinner. The dishes were truly delicious and the location was truly fantastic. It's not easy to find places like this. Poli, especially at inconvenient times, we will definitely be back. I don't even look if everything is written correctly.

14/09/2025: Every now and then after school we stop for a snack, in summer with ice cream, there is a nice outdoor space

Mr. JERRY, the owner, is a delightful, friendly, honest man, available to all his customers' needs. He is also a chef, unbeatable in the kitchen, with his signature dish, Risotto al Castelmagno. The environment is clean, sanitized, and tidy. Reservations are recommended for weekend mornings and evenings. During the week, they offer business lunch menus, fixed-price menus, and dinners. Convenient parking is available adjacent to the restaurant, and there is an external ATM next to the restaurant.
