20/09/2025: I've been to this bar and found the croissants frozen and definitely old. In fact, the clerk confirmed that the cappuccinos were not from a pastry shop. I'm from the village but they certainly won't see me again.

08/11/2025: A very special restaurant in a mountain setting with beautiful scenery. High-quality local cuisine, expertly prepared, and attentive, friendly service.
Access by road is tricky due to the narrowness and numerous curves before you reach the restaurant, but it's well worth the effort.
01/09/2025: Honestly, I didn't like it.
The written menu is inviting, but what you get at the table is something else entirely.
Penne amatriciana/wild boar is nothing more than pasta with tomato sauce and slices of (I don't know) wild boar salami.
Purple gnocchi are tasteless.
"Local" cold cuts: salami Milano and Bologna (I don't know).
Nice waiter.
Anyway, I WON'T be back.

They told me the food was good... well, except for the first course, the second course of meat was poor in quality and flavor, and the side dish of potatoes was absolutely tasteless...
I wouldn't go back and I won't recommend it.
01/11/2025: I don't recommend it...the prices are high, but that may be because of the lake view, because the food wasn't great.
Savory butter and sage ravioli, and as for the sage, I expected fresh leaves, but it arrived dried...terrible and heavy.
Baby first courses aren't on the menu, only second courses with chips.
However, if you ask for a half portion, they deduct €2 from the adult price.
The desserts were good.
The girl who served us was very kind, thankfully.

27/09/2025: Osteria della Piazza is perfect for those seeking a relaxed lunch in the heart of Arona. The restaurant is welcoming and meticulously maintained, with wooden tables and rustic décor. I tried the lakeside pasta dishes and fresh fish: every bite was an explosion of flavor. I really appreciated the staff's helpfulness in explaining the origins of the dishes and suggesting local wine pairings. All this in a tranquil atmosphere that invites you to linger and enjoy the day.
01/06/2025: Small pub/bar overlooking the town square. A couple of draft beers as an offer, more bottled beers and all the cocktails that can be made with what the pantry has to offer. A couple of small tables inside, several tables outside, with umbrellas and a veranda. Nice and friendly location. Large and close parking, but in competition with the theater. Don't look for parking in the town center, which is a maze of alleys.

It doesn't serve delicious dishes, but it has that '70s atmosphere, of a bygone proletarian and productive Italy.
"Amarcord" atmosphere.
The food is fair, with few frills and lots of authenticity.
Recommended
22/08/2025: We discovered this place thanks to a recommendation from a friend. It's a welcoming, homey place, with excellent home-cooked food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. What we were most impressed with was the cassouela, which was sensational. The desserts were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Welcome with hot soup.
Special appetizer: panzanella, potatoes, cheeses, savory pie, etc.
A good polenta with egg.
Excellent tart with cream and fresh blueberries.
Fair price/quality ratio.
Really worth it.

31/10/2025: I wouldn't recommend eating here. There are very few customers. We waited two hours and they still hadn't delivered all our dishes. In the end, we didn't get to eat many of the dishes we'd ordered. It was already late. A terrible experience.

26/09/2025: It's the same system as many sushi bars in Italy. At first, the waiter was a bit tense—Turkish or Indian, I don't know, but the cooking and staff are mostly Japanese. Don't overdo it with your choices; we barely made it out 🤪 they keep bringing more and more… by evening, the place gets pretty full.

15/10/2025: A simple café, good pastries, and excellent coffees and cappuccinos, but what makes the difference is the people behind the counter. They're truly kind, friendly, and very polite.
I often stop by before school, and they give me the calm I need to start the day off right. Recommended.
