28/04/2026: My parents went to lunch with friends on Easter Monday... a set menu with water and wine included. Unfortunately, when they asked for a second bottle of water (in addition to the ones already on the table at the start of service), the lady serving them abruptly replied, "ENOUGH!", complete with a gesture to make her point. This was the icing on the cake of a terrible lunch: extremely questionable food quality, meager portions, and truly unfriendly service. The second course of pasta dishes deserves special mention: cold and dry... practically inedible. To top it all off, the "strawberry tart" mentioned on the menu was actually a tart with strawberries in syrup... no comment. In short, poor customer service, from several perspectives. I'm sorry, but unfortunately the experience was truly negative.

05/04/2026: We went for lunch on Easter Sunday. Lovely place, very quiet considering it's right on the highway. Good food. Friendly staff. They welcome dogs of all sizes.

06/04/2026: Better service in the evening. Good quality Japanese food at a fixed price, which is higher in the evening but offers more choice.

14/04/2026: At lunch, I see the owner pouring some wine someone else had left into someone else's glass. Not satisfied, because there might have been a bread crumb in the "used" wine, she picks it up with a knife and then serves it, smiling. I wonder if the lady even understands infectious diseases and that it could kill someone. Finally, no receipt. You should close.

07/04/2026: We ate there today and it was really good at very reasonable prices. A very friendly family restaurant. No, there isn't a typical German menu with countless choices, but we are in Italy, away from the touristy restaurants. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and we would definitely eat there again.

07/05/2026: The restaurant is located right on the lake. I like the atmosphere; it's clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is varied and delicious. Excellent value for money.

21/11/2025: Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients. I tried home delivery, and it arrived hot and only 10 minutes after the scheduled time. The delivery guy was friendly.

18/03/2026: After driving past it for years, we stopped in for lunch today. The service was fast, the staff young and friendly. The dishes were excellent: ragù like you'll find in very few restaurants, chicken and potato parcels baked like my grandmother used to make, and the off-menu tiramisu was a must-try. After all this, we discovered that a 26-year-old woman works hard in the kitchen, alone by choice. At that point, we appreciated the service and food even more. The cost per person is between 15 and 20 euros if you order off-menu. We're from Varese, and we'll be back next time. We highly recommend it.

08/03/2026: I've lived in Saronno forever. I should start by saying that I often go to restaurants, even Michelin-starred ones, which is no coincidence. Yesterday I went to Principe di Savoia for lunch. Around 5 pm, on my way home, I remembered it was late and I wouldn't have had time to prepare baked potatoes for dinner at home, so I went to Galli for the first time in my life to buy them. 4 small trays of potatoes, huh? €35. I'm a little shocked, but I say, "Oh well, guys, they must be amazing." We're talking about potatoes, which in and of themselves are a humble dish. But I paid for both the potatoes and a magnum of Laurent Perrier wine. Total bill €135. The gold-plated potatoes, though, get a 5, guys, but €35 for four trays of potatoes is like armed robbery. Paradoxically, I paid more for them than the wine... I mean, at lunch at the Principe di Savoi, four dishes total, half a bottle of water and coffee, €250, but we're in an almost Michelin-starred restaurant... if I dine at the Galli, would I end up with this bill?! But beyond the price, one might say, "Okay, well, they must be crazy; no, they're also mediocre." I'll make them next time, if I plan ahead, because they'll definitely come out better and I'll also save €30.

21/12/2025: What can I say...one of Saronno's finest restaurants. Excellent for dinners with friends, business dinners, and romantic dinners. Delicious, top-quality dishes.

13/02/2026: Typical Chinese. I haven't been to this restaurant in about thirty years, one of the last remaining typically Chinese restaurants. I recommend it to anyone who likes it.

01/01/2026: They've become rare, but this one, among the few remaining, has retained its quality. The food is very good, in a warm, simple atmosphere. Service is a bit slow, partly due to the high demand for takeout.

12/04/2026: Well, I have to be honest, the flavor and quality seemed good compared to many others where the flavor of the various rolls couldn't be distinguished. However, the service wasn't slow, but extremely slow. It was exhausting eating there. We probably only ate half of what we ordered. I already knew there was no point in a second round. After 40 minutes, only the tartare arrived. I definitely won't be back. I'd rather eat a single flavor of all the rolls than pay €25 and eat three dishes.

02/12/2025: The area and the place are very nice, the sweets and pastries are very good and they make excellent aperitifs, I recommend everyone to go 😍
