10/09/2025: I've been coming to David House for two years now, and I didn't pay much attention to the reviews. But when I see some shady people destroying the work of good people by saying they're closed and giving it one star... I'm sorry, but I'm not having it! This evening, I ate very well, as usual, and I felt compelled to promote this business. So, I give it a 5-star rating.

24/04/2026: I come here every weekend especially for their ginseng macchiato soya: living in Legnano I can say that it is without a doubt one of the best I have ever had!

19/06/2026: The food was really good – that's why it gets two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to have developed a concept of teaching guests a lesson in patience before they even arrive. The wait was so long that we had to check several times between ordering and receiving our main course to make sure we were still in the same year. The staff also seemed to be having a demanding day. Friendliness appears to have been removed from the menu as a rare specialty. Every request felt like asking for a personal favor. It's a shame, because the kitchen has potential. If the service and organization can ever match the food, this could become a truly great restaurant. Until then, you should bring plenty of time, strong nerves, and perhaps a little something to keep you entertained while you wait.

25/08/2026: What a GREAT spot for cocktails. The cocktails are made with quality ingredients and you can tell by how amazing they are! I had a Negroni & it was a solid 10/10. Also the space is so cozy, beautiful, and interesting. Very comfortable setting. We stopped in after dinner and before heading to a bar that had more energy- if you’re looking for a spot with amazing drinks and cozy and eclectic but vibey atmosphere, stop in.

15/08/2026: The atmosphere is stunning, the location is wonderful. The food is a shame: the fritto misto was awful, under-fried and rubbery, and the spaghetti with clams was really oily. The appetizer was decent, except for the cutlet with potatoes from the kids' menu. The service was a bit lacking: wet wipes were missing, and we had to ask for them; we asked for a bottle of water twice because we forgot. I wouldn't go back for food, but I'd definitely go for a stroll.

15/08/2026: We ate at Osteria del Carde for the second time during our stay in Lavena Ponte Tresa. Exactly as we remembered, it is a lovely spot by the lake with very friendly and service-oriented staff. And the lobster with spaghetti is truly fantastic. Our daughter had the pizza, and that is also highly recommended. We enjoyed a really delicious bottle of rosé with it. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back to dine here!

01/07/2026: I had such a good memory of this place, so I took some friends there. It was a terrible experience. The day was very hot, but they only had one air conditioner turned on for such a large room. We asked for at least the fan near our table, but they only increased the power of the single (far away) air conditioner, imperceptibly. The pizza tasted like the frozen kind you buy at the supermarket. Furthermore, there was no option to order anything else.

11/04/2026: The atmosphere of this restaurant is very welcoming, the service is excellent, and the food—although the risotto was a little salty, the pizza dough was cooked and crispy. The view is also splendid, a vast expanse of nature.
