06/07/2026: This is not really a hotel. It is an excellent restaurant serving highly original and sophisticated food at acceptable prices, with a small number of bedrooms. As for the wine list, it is a wine-lover's delight, with fine wines from many Italian regions. We have stayed in 2 different rooms, one fairly small but big enough for a couple of nights, the other a kind of apartment. They are not expensive. The view across Lake Maggiore is wonderful and the lakeside location is perfect, although parking can be a problem. No breakfast is served and local cafés don't seem to open very early. Warning: the hotel's restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

05/05/2026: My first experience with food cooked in a huǒguō (hot pot). I had already seen these restaurants in northern Italy, but I hadn't decided to try them. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too large. There are tables for groups, couples, or even individuals who, like me, wanted to try this experience. It was a nice dinner, an all-you-can-eat option with a large refrigerator where you could take your food and bring it to the table to be cooked. Unfortunately, when I arrived, after 8:30 PM, the self-service buffet with rice, egg rolls, etc., had little choice, and almost all the dishes were cold.

18/08/2026: Very tasty 🤤 paella of unreal sizes! For 2 of us they gave us two healthy pans, which can be safely eaten by six! There is a lot of seafood there! Pizza on a thin crispy dough, we took it with bacon, Italian sausages, porcini mushrooms - mmm delicious! For dessert we had fondant - impeccable👌 Thank you 🙏 we will be back with pleasure

01/08/2026: My first experience at this restaurant was a complete success, especially on the food: excellent quality fish and amazing desserts are worth the visit alone. The service is a bit basic/academic, but still adequate. The quality-price ratio is absolutely in line with the market (average prices). I'll gladly return!

25/07/2026: I returned to this restaurant for dinner with my family, driven by the excellent memory of a lunch there six months ago. Unfortunately, the dinner was absolutely terrible in every way. The main problems we encountered: Appetizers and First Courses: The razor clams listed on the menu were missing from the sauté; you have to let me know. There was a sauté on the menu without razor clams; they should have charged me the lower price that didn't include razor clams. A swindler for 3 euros. The seafood scialatielli had very little seafood, and the sauce had a strange flavor, leaving a terrible taste in my mouth. The octopus had slimy black skin, pieces of scraps of the head; how can you serve something like that? The calamarata baked in foil tasted as bad as my scialatielli. The entrée of fried cheese balls or something was sent back because the pasta was completely raw, and we don't eat fried food. Then, since you pay for the covers, if anything, you bring something else. Zero attention. Second Courses and Quality: The sea bass in particular was a ridiculous fillet of about 40 grams with 4 thin boiled potatoes: an unacceptable portion for a second course. After I immediately complained about the ridiculous portion of the sea bass, they offered me a second fillet, but it still said "sea bass fillet." Given the wait, I declined so I could leave as quickly as possible. Bill and Service: We paid €12 for the cover charge for 4 of us, including two small girls aged 2 and 6. One beer and two waters from the dispenser came to €89! An unforgivable drop in quality and truly unfair customer service, especially since I had booked through The Fork and they asked me to cancel. Lost 500 bonus points, no discount, zero service. We won't be returning.

04/06/2026: I got two pizzas for takeout and they were good. The only flaw was that there weren't many ingredients, but otherwise, they were good.

12/04/2026: I was passing through with my kids. We stopped for two pizza kebabs, three piadina kebabs, and a Margherita. I had a wonderful meal. Fresh, quality ingredients. I'll definitely be back. Everything was delicious. And the staff were very friendly. Thank you so much.

28/03/2026: I visited your store today with high expectations, but I was very disappointed. The music on the sound system was often interrupted by messages warning of checks to prevent theft. When I tried on a pair of shoes, the security guard approached to check on me. The same thing happened when I was leaving with my mother. I felt uncomfortable, almost as if I were under suspicion, when in fact I'm just a customer coming to buy something. A truly unpleasant experience; I won't be returning.

24/06/2026: I've always liked it as a place. Ample space with an outdoor terrace, an ancient courtyard porch, and a very impressive setting. The problem is that there were 6 of us having breakfast. A good half hour passed after the clerk placed the order. I got up to ask for information. And they couldn't wait any longer; we were leaving (almost). Breakfast arrived in 40 minutes. That day, there weren't many people. 5 tables with just a few people. I think it's a staffing issue. The girl was alone, but then the other girl arrived... Boo
