02/05/2025: Even though I had booked for 7.30, they seated us at 8.00 and started serving at 8.30, at least the baby's rice, our dishes arrived at random with very long waiting times. Poor food, little care in preparation, everything seemed boiled and tasteless.

01/02/2025: I booked a pizza for 7.30pm and went to the pizzeria on time. They made me wait 10 minutes, even though my pizza was already ready on the counter. Meanwhile, another customer came in and was served immediately, despite having arrived after me. I find this treatment really disrespectful towards those who book in advance and show up on time. Not only was a cold pizza delivered to me, but I also witnessed service management that does not take into account the order of arrival of customers. I really hope they can improve the organization and attention to customers, because these situations negatively affect the overall experience.

14/06/2025: Unfortunately, the new management has nothing to do with the previous one. The portions have been significantly reduced, the prices have increased and the service leaves much to be desired. The tables, without tablecloths and set with placemats, give the impression of being in a beach resort rather than a renowned restaurant. Furthermore, hygiene seems to be left to chance. The menu, printed in-house on two A4 sheets, lists only appetizers, first courses and second courses, without including side dishes, desserts, coffee, liqueurs or drinks. Consequently, every price has to be continually asked of the staff. The house wine (in a carafe) has disappeared in the face of a wine list that would make even Carlo Cracco envious. If the name “Gran Fritto” suggests a rich and varied dish, the reality is very different: a miserable little plate with pseudo-squid, a shrimp and two fried vegetables arrived. For 2 large fried foods, 1 small plate of octopus, 1 potato chip, 1 sparkling water, 1 can of soft drink and 2 glasses of white wine we spent €90 (of which €7 just for soft drink and water and a whopping €44 for the mini-fried foods). No dessert, no bottle of wine, no coffee, no bitters... It's a high bill for what's on offer, especially considering that in other restaurants on the lake, with the same view and price, it's possible to consume a much richer dinner, with a much different attention to detail. Cerro is not the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, and above all the new management should have shown more respect for the loyal customers who have frequented this place for years, keeping it going, and who, at this point, won't be returning.

14/06/2025: Too bad! The change of management is a real shame. And I don't understand why there can't be continuity with what worked perfectly until last year. The menu is rather concise, difficult to choose the appetizer for example. The quality in some proposals has decreased drastically as well as the quantity. The pork in crust is good instead. Friendly staff.

02/06/2025: The best apricot croissants I have ever tried. If you want a good morning jolt of caffeine must get a cappuccino here.

30/04/2025: I've eaten there a few times now and have always been very satisfied. The fish dishes (my favorites: appetizer platter and salt-crusted sea bass) are top with a first-class price/performance ratio. Pizza is also highly recommended.

15/06/2025: I'm sorry to say that today we ordered 2 pizzas as we do every week because we had a good time the other times, but today it was truly a disaster, when I opened the pizzas I found the pizza that was under the other we found the mozzarella and all the toppings stuck to the cardboard on top, to finish off as soon as I opened the dough was not like always, plus raw and sticky. I'm really sorry to write such a not very nice review, reviews are useful, I don't think we'll ever see each other again, I was really disappointed. BEST REGARDS.
