21/09/2025: Last night, dinner at a restaurant for four. We asked for house wine in a carafe, sparkling if possible... after saying yes (€12), THEY DUMPED (!!!!!!) the prosecco!!! From the bottle to the jug!!! I'm not kidding! And they charged us €24 for it! More clarity! Excellent food! Too bad! We won't be back!

22/08/2025: Good aperitif. Shame about the red-haired waitress, she was very rude. Unlike the other waitress, she was very kind.

11/09/2025: We've been coming to both locations for years. The staff is always very friendly (even when they're very busy). Excellent quality and prices.

04/09/2024: The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.

01/09/2024: ...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

15/10/2025: Le Motte Restaurant: Not a warm welcome They were almost annoyed because we were the first to arrive and it looked like the staff was still eating lunch. Aside from that, we ordered: - Appetizer: charcuterie board and sciatt. - First/Second Courses: Pizzoccheri superb, Polenta taragna with chanterelles and porcini mushrooms, very good, Roe deer stew with fries (perhaps the roe deer tasted too much like wine, but it was good), and Polenta taragna with veal morsels, sausage, and casera cheese, very good. We didn't get to dessert. Ate well.

13/09/2025: Delicious dinner! Four of us had dinner at this beautiful restaurant with a truly enchanting atmosphere! The risottos were excellent, especially the blueberry one and the Sassella risotto with bresaola! The desserts were delicious, the cheesecake was amazing! The waiters were very kind, knowledgeable, fast, and always smiling! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!

08/09/2025: A very friendly and warm welcome! The pitches on the hillside are pleasant. I've been here several times, and this time I had the opportunity to try the attached restaurant – you should! If you think you "know" Italian cuisine, you'll also discover the Lombardy version and the wines from Valtellina here. A new experience for me, plus the very friendly and welcoming treatment of guests!

19/08/2025: I went to eat there this evening after a year and the quality has deteriorated a lot, the fish is not fresh (probably leftovers from the weekend), oxidized and soaked in those annoying acidic sauces...

18/10/2025: ...it's all true!!! Everything was delicious, well-cooked, with balanced flavors, just the right portions, good wine (we're in Valtellina...), fast service, friendly staff... a culinary experience not to be missed! Tip: book in advance for weekends.

20/09/2025: Very convenient location, just a two-minute drive from the center of Bormio, convenient for walking to several nearby attractions. A very nice breakfast room, large and spacious room. The TV could be bigger, and perhaps turning the heating up a little every now and then wouldn't hurt. Convenient parking is available, and the common area is very nice. The breakfast was varied and good, and the problem we had with the room was resolved unexpectedly well. We were very pleased.

04/09/2025: My 6-year-old son and I vacationed here in July; the location and services far exceeded our expectations: exceptional rooms, a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, and incredibly kind staff. A perfect choice, especially for families, with private rooms with bathrooms and communal areas perfect for spending time even on rainy days. The hotel's location also allows for walks suitable for small children, and there are countless experiences of all kinds nearby: walks with alpacas; high-altitude bobsleigh rides; educational farms; hikes in breathtaking locations; and bike rides. We were very satisfied and happy with our experience, and what can we say about the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the bartender, and especially the delicious dishes from the chef, who was ready to satisfy every request? A highly recommended vacation experience. Thanks again!

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Of two orders (one for each person), only one was delivered. When I was finished eating and my partner still hadn't received anything, we addressed the issue. We took the second portion with us. What annoys me is that we were charged twice for cutlery even though only one person had eaten in the restaurant, and that was your fault. Very, very cheeky!! I would have expected a concession.

22/04/2025: A truly family atmosphere that can be felt from the moment you step in - a warm welcome, sincere, smiling staff and an atmosphere like visiting friends for dinner. On a Livigno scale – the food is delicious! Each dish is refined, with fresh ingredients and flavors that stay in your memory. I wholeheartedly recommend it, a good place for a relaxing evening.
