01/04/2024: Easter Monday.......impossible to go up the Bernina with the train due to snow...so I choose this place.....it was worth the stop......excellent sciat......chest of 🦆 delicious ......to finish with a light yoghurt mouse with salted caramel....and a glass of forzato......

30/03/2024: An evening almost to forget, the waitress was not very courteous, and not so sober either. Initially she wanted to convince us to take a wine (we were in a group) in order to spend more, rather than less... but this matters little, we asked her to see the wines to get an idea and possibly choose the most suitable (in our opinion ), asked those of us who wanted to follow her, starting with a nice “come on, I'll piss you off now”. After choosing the wine, however, she told us that we had chosen the most waste wine from Valtellina, a nightmare considering that she took care of the table until dessert. Nothing to say about the other guy, very kind and courteous, but the food was all very good and the place was very nice. Highly recommended!!! (if the maid is absent)

23/03/2024: Even though we hadn't booked, we were warmly welcomed by the staff of the Gagin restaurant. We started with an appetizer of Valtellina sciatt and bresaola, both excellent. Afterwards we tasted manfrigoli and pizzoccheri, what can I say? Both courses D-I-V-I-N-E! Excellent quality of ingredients and the ladies Chefs really very short! We then continued, now sated, with a taste of a very characteristic second course, the tzigoiner. It exceeded our expectations. We recommend this small but welcoming restaurant, there is a family atmosphere. The waiter in the room was extremely kind and helpful. Ps even the house wine was excellent! 18/02/2024: I know this place as best gelateria in Tirano. But today the portions were very small as never before! I think it depends on one old man who was on cassa, maybe even he is owner and very greedy( Hope next time didn't see him here.

03/02/2024: Years ago it was our regular appointment when we went over there: they made an excellent Moroccan with Nutella😋. Welcoming and elegant environment (including bathrooms!). Little by little the service has changed and it no longer offers meals or sandwiches and the staff is small. Over time he has lost points, we hope to be able to change his mind later.

17/01/2024: My friend and I were in Tirano for one night and we wanted to try local wine, so we ended up in Cantina Contadi Gasparotti and it was the best decision! We tried 4 different wines, local cheese and cured meat and forest fruit cake - everything just great!! I truly loved the wine “Genio”, if you love rich full body wine - try this one! The atmosphere is simply magic, so it made us stay for good 3 hours. Absolutely recommended!

Siamo stati accolti in modo molto garbato e sin da subito siamo stati messi a nostro agio dalla disponibilità e professionalità dei titolari. Per noi era la prima volta qui a Tirano e possiamo dire che ci siamo sentiti a casa. Tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato era ottimo ed il rapporto qualità prezzo superlativo. Siamo stati veramente felici di cenare in questa bellissima cantina. Per tali motivi la consigliamo, se volete trascorrere una serata in armonia, mangiando bene e degustando dell’ottimo vino. +++++ 🍷 +++++++
