05/07/2026: We were eight of us on Sunday, June 28th, hoping to escape the city heat for a few hours: in Milan it was 38 degrees, but there it was 19.5 degrees. That alone made it worth it.
We booked by phone; the communication was clear, kind, and welcoming, so much so that it already felt like arriving at a familiar place. The directions were also precise: the agriturismo is about 750 meters away; the last stretch is a bit narrow but absolutely manageable. There are parking lots about 50 meters from the brick entrance, and if they're full, you can also park on the internal lawn.
The welcome was truly exemplary; we immediately felt at ease. The young woman who served us offered both the à la carte menu and the set menu; we chose the set menu, with various appetizers, two first courses, a second course, dessert, liqueur, coffee made with a moka pot, water, and unlimited wine.
Everything was excellent, and I think the "scarpetta" (scraping the plate with a cloth) is the best possible review. The timing between courses was just right, no rush, but no long waits either.
We were the last to leave and even had a pleasant chat with the owners, including the lady who told us a few anecdotes about her two dogs.
Unbeatable value for money. Absolutely worth the two-hour drive from Milan. A genuine, welcoming place with excellent cuisine. We'll definitely return.

07/06/2026: For a first time I would say more than excellent! A pleasant accidental discovery... 60 km from home crossing the San Marco Pass but worth returning!!!
09/05/2026: The appetizer (mixed seafood), the first course (squid ink gnocchi with scallops and lemon), and the main course (whitefish with potatoes) were excellent. Unfortunately, the desserts weren't exceptional; they would have been better for breakfast than as a dessert at the end of the meal (apple flan and chestnut tartlet). Overall, a very good dinner and excellent service, but the dessert definitely needs updating.

We ordered an appetizer to share, two meat-based first courses, and a dessert, all excellent.
The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff very friendly.
We'll definitely be back!

05/07/2026: A surreal experience, to be avoided.
We had a table reserved for 9:00 PM and arrived at 8:57 PM. A young woman simply told us to wait, without any explanation. After 15 minutes, we were still there, surrounded by empty tables, not understanding what we were waiting for.
At that point, an extremely rude waiter arrived and, instead of asking if we had a reservation, told another woman, referring to us, that the food was out and they wouldn't serve any more customers. Food out at 9:15 PM? Unheard of in a restaurant.
When we pointed out that we had a reservation, they told us it wasn't their problem and that we could leave. After complaining, they finally let us sit, but we stayed another 15 minutes without even receiving a menu.
When the woman returned after about half an hour, instead of apologizing, she got angry with me, saying she was the owner and didn't listen to the waiters. I pointed out that she'd left us completely abandoned for over 30 minutes and that I was writing a review. Her response was not to do so and that, even though she never responds to reviews, she'd wait for mine to reply. If an owner habitually ignores customer reviews, that says a lot about the way they run their business.
The place also seemed dirty, dark, and poorly maintained.
Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, because we didn't get a chance to try it... it was already sold out! 😂
Luckily, we didn't go without dinner: we found another restaurant a minute's walk away where, without a reservation, at 9:30 PM they welcomed us kindly, served us quickly, and ensured we had a pleasant evening.
One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant.
