29/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant on the recommendation of a local, and I was very pleased! The service was incredibly fast; our dishes arrived in no time! We went there two nights, and tried different dishes. The first night, they had a vegetarian menu; we tried pizzoccheri, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, a mix of local cheeses with jams, and taragna polenta. The second night, we tried pizza, bresaola-filled ravioli, polenta with veal in tomato sauce, and a mix of cured meats. Everything was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was very fast, friendly, and attentive. My compliments to all the staff!

17/03/2026: A very, very exciting experience... I've always heard about the green lantern at Villa di Chiavenna, now I can say it's truly worth it... try it over and over again as many times as you want... everything is very special, from the dishes to the service and the location.

Italian prosciutto, tomato sauce, basil pesto, burrata, arugula.
And the gourmet bacon and 'Nduja pizza.
Seasoned bacon, tomato sauce, 'Nduja, Taggiasca olives, burrata.
Both pizzas were baked to perfection.
No cookie crust.
The burrata was excellent.
Very creamy and fresh.
The gourmet bacon is very flavorful and a little spicy.
But it works perfectly with the burrata.
The gourmet prosciutto (Crudo) was exactly as you would expect from this classic.
Of course, the quality depends on the ham.
Here, the prosciutto Crudo was very tasty and of good quality.
Therefore, I can only say: superb pizza.
We will definitely order this pizza again on our next visit to Chiavenna.
07/04/2026: We went on a Saturday night without a reservation and they found us a table, but it was 6:50 PM.
The pizza was good and quite thin, just the way we like it.

19/03/2026: We ate there three times during the week. Very warm welcome, excellent service, excellent food. I'm not particularly a meat eater, but I must say their tagliata is the best I've had in years.
13/03/2026: Superb hotel at the foot of the slopes.
The half-board service was excellent. Breakfast was very varied, and dinner was also very varied and plentiful.
The rooms are spacious and functional, with very comfortable beds.
The highlight was the wellness center with its hammam, sauna, and whirlpool bath.
The staff were attentive and very professional; you feel right at home.
I highly recommend it.

07/04/2026: I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Pastorella, made even more special by the incredible staff. Toto is truly the best waiter—extremely attentive, professional, and always making sure everything is perfect. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out and made every moment enjoyable.
Ervin, the bartender, is also fantastic. Not only is he very kind and welcoming, but he also makes amazing drinks. His tiramisu cocktail is absolutely outstanding—honestly even better than an espresso martini! It’s a must-try.
Both Toto and Ervin go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and appreciated. Their kindness and dedication made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy!
PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!
26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.
