13/07/2025: €59 thrown out the window. I never write reviews, but I want to point out this experience. He claims to be a member of the pizzoccheri academy. But it's better if he takes the courses several times to get in. The quality of the dish is truly mediocre. The sciatt are awful. They only taste of oil. The bresaola is the same quality as any supermarket. It was a tasting menu. We gave up after the pizzoccheri and the appetizer. It took us two and a half hours to get these two dishes. If we'd waited for the rest, it would have taken another six hours. We paid as if it were an à la carte menu, without questioning either the prices or the quantity. I repeat, the choice we made was a tasting menu. As for the tasting, we only appreciated the anger, the lack of consideration for the customer, poor organization, and the terrible quality of the raw materials. A real disappointment.

31/07/2025: Despite having booked a table in advance and having three small children with us, we had to wait over two hours for service. It was frustrating, despite repeated complaints. Apparently, they're seating more people than they can handle. To be fair, the food was good, the prices were in line with the rest, and the waitresses were friendly. They could have given us a discount to make up for the unforgivable wait. A truly beautiful place, in an excellent location for cycling around the lake.

27/07/2025: What a wonderful discovery, Rifugio Ristoro Solena! On July 23, 2025, we were there for lunch with the whole family, a group of eight adults, two children, and our two dogs. The atmosphere was perfect for such a diverse group. We started with an exquisite cheese and cured meat platter. But the highlight that absolutely won us over was the venison steak with fresh chanterelles—truly superb. A place we'll keep in mind for future trips, especially since they're dog-friendly, which isn't always a given! The location is convenient, accessible by car, and offers a view of the turquoise Cancano lakes. The staff was kind and helpful. The atmosphere was super welcoming, with a beautiful soundtrack in the background!!!

19/07/2025: I've always lived on the peninsula, but I've never eaten at this café before. What can I say? What have I missed! I've tried various products, from croissants to brioches. And every time I leave with a pleasant taste sensation unmatched in my area. Too often, our palates become accustomed to poor-quality products, and we don't even remember how tasty and healthy things were from so many years ago. Well...go try the pastries at this café. And then you'll see what I mean.

12/06/2025: Estábamos aquí para un viaje de fin de semana a Lombardía. Tienen restaurante y alojamiento, y ambos son totalmente fabulosos. Nos sentimos encantados por el paisaje de montaña, los muebles antiguos bien hechos, la habitación cálida y limpia, y las deliciosas comidas. Y el personal es muy amable y acogedor.

I happened to be passing by the street, and my friends and I decided to stop in for lunch. I have to thank chance for having me pass by the Lord Byron bar. Fantastically filled sandwiches! 31/07/2025: Ausgezeichnete verdure al vapore und caprese ( hier fehlte jedoch das versprochene Basilikum mit Ausnahme eines zarten Blättchens ). Die Pizza pomodorini e rucola leider fast ohne Käse dafür mit einer schwarzen verbrannten Teigblase. Preis/Leistung ok, coperto 5 € viel,aber da das ganze Tischtuch entsorgt wird, verständlich. Guter freundlicher rascher Service.

03/06/2025: I’m vegetarian and why I went there? Well, I heard they are making untraditional vegetarian/vegan sushi like not just only cucumber or avocado rolls. So I went there with a friend who eats meat. For me, vegetarian sushi was disappointed because just same as everywhere cucumber and avocado. Of course they have more choices for vegetarian sushi like korean purple rice rolled with salad. If you want to eat outside of sushi, they have vegetarian gyoza, miso soup, vegetable tempura and some Japanese noodles. For meat lover? It is heaven because all you can eat and seafood looks fresh!

02/07/2025: Very nice place, but not recommended for those with intolerances or allergies. At the entrance there is a sign that warns that there are allergens everywhere, since I only wanted a cold cuts board I went in anyway. I asked for the board, being lactose intolerant and I was told that if I wanted they would give me bresaola and that was it (the cold cuts board is not on the list). I had dinner with grilled vegetables (not on the list either, but they magically made those, but I do not recommend them: few and not even fantastic, I could not eat the radicchio). If you do not have problems with intolerances, the place is probably good, the pizzoccheri looked good and the meat too. I did not take photos because I was too angry because they did not care at all about the fact that I was having dinner with three slices of courgettes, a wedge of potato, a piece of tomato and 4 slices of aubergine. I went to get a cold cuts board elsewhere because I was still hungry.
