17/05/2026: I'll start by saying I haven't eaten there; my review is only due to the lack of availability and the inhumane treatment I received. I'm just leaving the restaurant. I showed up alone at 2:20 PM, asking if I still had time to eat something. I repeat, alone, so only one person. The place was still packed with people having lunch, and there were plenty of free tables. The response was, "No, we're full!" Not even a "sorry!". Such hospitality. What can I say? I'm here for work and live 100 meters away. I'll be staying another month, and it could have become a habit due to the paid trip, but they'll never see me again. Thanks for the hospitality.

06/04/2026: A legendary pizzeria for anyone who grew up in the '80s. We ate well and were warmly welcomed even though we showed up late. The staff were friendly. Good pizza. Very fair prices (5 stars). Cool, scenic location!

Her restaurant is a must-see, and a stay at her hotel is also highly recommended. If you find yourself in Teglio (a gem of Valtellina) and the surrounding area, don't miss this opportunity! You'll be welcomed by simplicity, tradition, excellent cuisine, and a wonderful sense of family. Maria, Elisa's mother, won't hesitate to offer you the produce from her garden... herbs for the summer version of pizzoccheri, strawberries, and cherries, to name just a few. The bresaola is also excellent, with sciatt, also handmade, of course... and what can I say about the Tzigoiner (meat on a stick)... sublime! Regarding the hotel, I'd recommend the welcoming, spacious, and clean rooms. Spectacular views of the Orobie Alps can be seen from the balconies of the rooms overlooking the mountains and from the restaurant's outdoor terrace. Teglio offers walks and easy hikes (e.g., a visit to the charming Menaglio Mill is a must-see) and is an excellent base for reaching Tirano and the Bernina Express to Saint Moritz, Livigno, Bormio, and its thermal baths. The Sanctuary of the Madonna di Tirano is a must-see, with its 14-meter organ with over 2,000 pipes, one of the most majestic in Europe and truly breathtaking. In Teglio, Palazzo Besta is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy your stay at Elisa's, the heart of tradition in the capital of pizzoccheri.

31/05/2026: This chalet-style hotel boasts a great location (the upper rooms also offer a splendid view of the Orobie Alps), private parking, and excellent cuisine. The pizzoccheri are sublime. I've never tasted so good and so plentiful. Unmissable.

14/12/2025: Atmosphere: The place is very welcoming and warm. The staff, very friendly and always available, also makes it unique. Service: The service is top-notch. As soon as you're seated, you'll be served a tray from which you can choose your favorite bread, accompanied by a small plate of flavored butter. Food: The food is purely traditional. I recommend the pizzoccheri, onion soup, sciat, and polenta and bresaola gnocchi. After your coffee, they always bring a small dessert (spuglie, chocolates). Price: The price is very much in line with the service and food. It's become a regular. We'll definitely be back.

07/04/2026: Excellent place for a break, whether breakfast or aperitif. The platter was good. The girl was kind, and all the staff were attentive and helpful. I'll gladly return. And that's how things change. After a week, I returned and, as always, they were kind. However, when I asked for more focaccia because we were on our second and third rounds of beer and wine, the girl (different from the previous week) didn't bring anything, saying they'd all run out. We were disappointed, me and my four friends. Hmm... never mind.

12/05/2026: A truly authentic place, perfect for those who want to eat authentic Valtellina cuisine. The pizzoccheri were creamy and flavorful, made according to tradition, and the portions are enormous: you'll leave more than satisfied! The sciatt were also excellent, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, accompanied by a fresh salad that balances the meal well. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, the service is friendly, and the food is truly excellent. If you're looking for typical Valtellina flavors and generous portions at great prices, this place is definitely worth a visit.

A wine tasting is available. Finally, for coffee, not just the usual espresso, but a refined selection of blends from around the world. Reservations are required. The service was impeccable, attentive, and very professional.

The owners and all the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to chat or offer excellent advice. The cuisine is impeccable: authentic flavors, simple yet truly delicious, just like the dishes you'd expect from grandma's kitchen.
