07/09/2023: Typical Alpine environment with very nice staff, you can taste typical dishes, refined cuisine, try the cream ice cream made with their milk and the shepherd's coffee. It is located right on the Gavia road, just before the hairpin bend, there is a good car park and, for those with mobility problems, it is possible to take public transport up to the mountain hut (100 m from the road). The starting and finishing point of hiking trails is MTB. Possibility of overnight stay. You can purchase home-produced dairy products, and teaching sessions are also held. Good value for money, we always come back with pleasure.

04/03/2024: I'll start by complimenting Mrs. Daniela and Mr. Alvario because together with their daughter they manage this hotel excellently (extraordinary people who make you feel at home). Extraordinary experience that I recommend to everyone. The structure is beautiful and very well kept, always in all respects a superior four star. Comfortable, beautiful and spotless rooms. Abundant breakfast full of excellent products. Fabulous dinner (we opted for half board): always traditional dishes prepared with high quality ingredients. Beautiful wellness center open in the afternoon (from 3pm to 7pm) and included in the price. Very comfortable skyroom. Not to forget the strategic position: in the center of the town of Santa Caterina and practically adjacent to the (free) bus stop that takes you to the lifts. What can I say: everything really was super.

All'Ables siamo saliti diverse volte, un trek di un'ora e mezza scarsa, bellissimo sentiero. Abbiamo sia pranzato che fatto merenda. Persone gentilissime, prodotti genuini, ambiente straordinario. Anche solo per il caffé del pastore ne vale la pena.
