We had lunch at this trattoria, and as for the food, there's nothing to complain about: it was truly delicious. Unfortunately, however, the service leaves much to be desired, almost terrible. From the moment we sat down, we waited a good 25 minutes just for water. Furthermore, the attitude of the waitress (a curly redhead) was completely unprofessional: she seemed annoyed and unwilling to interact with customers. A smile and a modicum of friendliness really make a difference in the restaurant industry. It's a shame, because the quality of the dishes deserves much better.

I went to the restaurant last week while passing through. The food was good, although the prices were a bit steep. Moreover, they offered the daily menu to the workers, and I only a la carte, since I was wearing a tie. The girl's friendliness needs to be reconsidered.

We went for a family lunch with friends. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food, from appetizer to dessert, was truly delicious and with generous portions. I would gladly return and recommend it to everyone.

Last night, dinner at a restaurant for four. We asked for house wine in a carafe, sparkling if possible... after saying yes (€12), THEY DUMPED (!!!!!!) the prosecco!!! From the bottle to the jug!!! I'm not kidding! And they charged us €24 for it! More clarity! Excellent food! Too bad! We won't be back!

Restaurant Il Vassallo

17/03/2026: A very pretty restaurant, rustic and with a very unique architecture. The service was excellent and the food was very well-prepared. There were four of us dining and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended! 🙏🏻 The only flaw, if you can call it that, is that some dishes require a minimum order of two people, so you have to agree on the order. I can understand the risottos, but perhaps I'd tweak the pizzoccheri a bit and offer the option of ordering individual portions.
