Dinner for two couples
The sciatt was below average and overly flavored by the salad underneath, dressed with balsamic vinegar.
The pizzoccheri (for just two) was good, although the cabbage wasn't evenly distributed: one with all the white part, the other with all the green part.
The meat was very good.
So, the food was more than positive.
I disagree, however, with the decision not to bring bread until the first course, justified by saying, "If we bring bread, the customer will fill up on it and then not enjoy the food."
Just explain this to the customer, and then it's their choice!
The wait is long (at least 40 minutes), even though it was stated from the beginning. I would suggest cushions on the wooden chairs, since you'll be sitting there for almost two hours.
The atmosphere is moderately noisy; obviously, it depends on the other guests, but the reverberation is noticeable.
The menu on the website, consulted at the table, wasn't the one actually offered. So the customer might be convinced they'd like to try certain dishes, which then turn out to be unavailable.
Hence the overall rating of 4 stars.
The price is a separate issue: 3 sciatt, 2 pizzoccheri, 4 meat-based main courses, 3 bottles of water (microfiltered), 2 glasses of wine: €225.
Everyone will judge according to their own standards; too high in my opinion.

A wonderful discovery during a weekend getaway, featuring refined traditional dishes made with truly top-quality, locally sourced ingredients! The wait staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is spectacular, with many items salvaged by the owners. Absolutely beautiful!

They also have a vegetarian menu, two of which we tried were delicious.
What can I say? If we ever return to Oga, we'll definitely be back.

A very charming, intimate, and comfortable location.
The menu is practically zero-miles, with traditional dishes revisited with a modern twist.
The wine list is distinctly Valtellina-style, ranging from the most famous producers to emerging ones.
Attentive service.
The price is in line with the quality of the ingredients.

We had a wonderful experience at this small-town restaurant last night. We ordered more traditional regional Italian dishes, and both the rabbit and the osso buco were outstanding—rich, beautifully cooked, and full of authentic flavour. The service was excellent; the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere—artistic, modern, with soft ambient lighting that creates a relaxed and intimate setting. A real gem and somewhere I’d happily return to.

My partner and I had dinner at this charming restaurant. The location is beautiful, intimate, charming, and pleasant—it feels like being in a small mountain cabin. The food was spectacular, from appetizers to desserts. Great attention was paid to the ingredients, with traditional pairings but with a hint of modernity. Special mention goes to the recycling of waste materials in the table setting, from the bottle necks used as cutlery rests to the plates served inside old bottles. The host was helpful and friendly, and he pampered us throughout the dinner. If you're passing through Bormio or the surrounding area, it's definitely worth a try!
